Have you ever dreamt of waking up to the iconic Eiffel Tower right outside your window? Well, I did, and it came true at the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel. This suite wasn’t just a place to sleep; it was a haven of Parisian luxury, offering an unforgettable experience that left me speechless. I scoured the internet, hunting for the best view of the Eiffel Tower, and this suite emerged as the ultimate winner. Prepare to be amazed by the Penthouse Eiffel Suite, a masterpiece of Parisian elegance!
Let’s be honest, a view like this doesn’t come cheap. This suite was the most expensive hotel stay I’ve ever splurged on. It’s worth every penny, though. You’ll be hard-pressed to find anything better in all of Paris. Imagine waking up to the iconic Eiffel Tower shimmering against the Parisian skyline – it’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
A Luxurious Retreat
Stepping inside, I was greeted by an immense space – 110 square meters, to be exact. That’s over half the size of my own flat! This suite is a symphony of comfort and sophistication, with every detail meticulously crafted to elevate your stay.
On your right, you’ll find a fully stocked bar, perfect for a celebratory toast. The mini-fridge is filled with prosecco, wine, beer, water, and soft drinks. While the alcoholic beverages come at a cost, the water and soft drinks are complimentary. There’s also a Nespresso machine for your caffeine fix, along with a selection of glasses and mugs.
Next, you’ll find a cozy seating area with a corner sofa, a table, and a 46-inch flat-screen TV with a Bose speaker system. This is the ideal spot to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. The entire suite is bathed in natural light thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows and doors that frame the Eiffel Tower.
Moving further into the suite, you’ll be greeted by a grand marble dining table with four comfortable chairs, ideal for indulging in delicious room service. Fancy al fresco dining? The balcony, with its own table and chairs, is perfect for enjoying the Parisian air.
A Bedroom Fit for Royalty
The bedroom, which can be separated from the main suite with sliding doors, is a sanctuary of comfort. A king-size bed, adorned with the softest pillows, promises a blissful night’s sleep. The room is spacious, with a chaise longue for lounging and another 46-inch flat-screen TV for entertainment.
The spacious bathroom is another highlight. A double bath, with a generous supply of C. O. Bigelow toiletries, beckons you to unwind and relax. The shower area boasts a rain shower head, perfect for a rejuvenating experience. The main area features two sinks with big mirrors and a second toilet.
If you’re planning an extended stay, the Pullman Eiffel Suite offers ample storage space, including a walk-in wardrobe room. The Bose dock with an iPad ensures that you can enjoy your favorite music throughout the suite.
The View That Stole My Heart
This Pullman Eiffel Suite review wouldn’t be complete without raving about the view. I spent hours researching the best Eiffel Tower view from a hotel room, and this suite surpassed all my expectations. Even the concierge service I get through my American Express Platinum card couldn’t find anything better. The USP of this suite is the mesmerizing view of the Eiffel Tower, a spectacle that will leave you breathless.
The suite also features a continuous balcony that runs along one side, offering a panoramic perspective of the city. From 6 pm to 1 am, the Eiffel Tower sparkles every hour for five minutes, creating a magical spectacle that’s perfect for Instagram-worthy shots.
A Parisian Gem
The Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel is located on the left bank of Paris, directly across from the Eiffel Tower. This grand hotel boasts 430 rooms in nine different categories, including three suite types. The hotel also offers the FRAME brasserie for a taste of Parisian cuisine, and a bar for a relaxing drink.
The hotel offers a 2 pm check-in, but you can request an early check-in if you’re lucky. Check-out is at 11 am, but they’re happy to accommodate requests for a later departure.
Getting to the Hotel
The hotel is about 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle Airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly Airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station is a short walk away and you can get there from Charles de Gaulle Airport using the RER B and RER C services in just under an hour. The cost is around 11€ (£9 / $12) one way.
Another option is to take Le Bus Direct line 2, which takes roughly 60-70 minutes and costs 18€ (£15 / $20) one way. You can also drive and park at the hotel.
Dining Delights
With the stunning view and the luxurious space, we opted for room service instead of dining at the brasserie. The starters ranged from 11€ (£9 / $12) for soup to 19€ (£16 / $21) for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast and a grain bowl.
Main courses started at 14€ (£12 / $16) for linguine and went up to 37€ (£32 / $41) for a 300g seared strip steak. We both went for the steak, and it was truly exceptional. The hotel staff brought it up on a hot plate while setting the table, which was a nice touch. Other main course options included a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day.
Desserts cost around 12€ (£10 / $13) on average and included chocolate fondant, cheese, and fruit salad options. Some dishes across the three courses were available 24 hours a day, and there were healthy options marked on the menu. The hotel also offered a TV Dinner option – a sharing platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas for 29€ (£25 / $32).
Would I Stay Again? Absolutely!
The Pullman Eiffel Suite is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The price tag might seem steep, but for a special occasion, it’s worth every penny. This suite is truly exceptional, and how often do you get to stay in a room with such an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower? I can’t wait to return for another unforgettable Parisian adventure.
