Ready to experience the magic of Paris from a truly extraordinary vantage point? Let me tell you about the Pullman Eiffel Suite, a haven of luxury and breathtaking views, nestled within the iconic Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel.
This suite was, without a doubt, the pinnacle of my travel experiences. Its sheer size surpassed my entire flat, and the view of the Eiffel Tower was nothing short of spectacular. I spent hours meticulously researching the perfect Parisian retreat, and this suite was the ultimate prize. If you’re seeking a hotel room with an unrivaled view of the Eiffel Tower, look no further. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more magnificent experience.
A Price Tag to Match the Views
This Parisian paradise doesn’t come cheap. The price tag for a single night in this suite was the highest I’ve ever paid for a hotel stay. It’s the type of price that usually secures a week-long vacation! However, this suite is one of a kind, and its popularity means you’ll need to be quick to secure your stay, especially during peak seasons. Let’s dive into what makes the Pullman Eiffel Suite worth every penny.
Luxury and Space: A Parisian Oasis
Imagine stepping into a spacious 110 square meters of pure elegance. That’s almost 50% larger than my own flat back in Scotland! The sheer scale of this suite is mind-blowing, especially compared to the average hotel room in the UK, which typically clocks in at a mere 32 square meters.
From the moment you enter, you’re greeted by a meticulously curated space. A fully stocked bar awaits on the right, with a mini fridge offering a selection of prosecco, wine, beer, water, and soft drinks. While the water and soft drinks are complimentary, the other beverages are priced in line with typical hotel rates. You’ll also find tea and coffee (Nespresso machine) along with a variety of glasses and mugs to suit your beverage preference.
A Symphony of Comfort and Entertainment
The suite seamlessly transitions into a cozy seating area, complete with a corner sofa, a table, and a 46-inch flat-screen TV with a Bose speaker system. Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors flood the space with natural light and showcase the captivating Eiffel Tower view.
Beyond the seating area, you’ll discover a grand marble dining table that seats four comfortably. This is where you can enjoy the hotel’s room service options (detailed below). Alternatively, you can dine al fresco on the balcony, weather permitting. A well-appointed bathroom is conveniently located before you reach the bedroom.
A Serene Retreat: The Bedroom
The bedroom, separated from the main suite by sliding doors, offers a sanctuary of comfort and privacy. A king-size bed adorned with plush pillows invites you to sink into a state of blissful relaxation. The bedroom is generously sized and includes all the standard amenities, plus a chaise longue and another 46-inch flat-screen TV. Double doors lead directly to the balcony, providing easy access to the breathtaking Parisian vistas.
A Sanctuary of Indulgence: The Bathroom
The bathroom is a haven of luxury and tranquility. A corner bathtub awaits, stocked with a premium selection of C.O. Bigelow toiletries. The shower area boasts a magnificent rainfall shower with a hand shower option. Two sinks, two large mirrors, and a second toilet complete this spacious and meticulously designed bathroom.
A Home Away From Home: Storage and Amenities
The Pullman Eiffel Suite is perfect for extended stays, offering ample storage space, including a walk-in wardrobe room. A Bose dock equipped with an iPad provides a seamless way to enjoy your favorite music throughout the suite.
The Showstopper: The Eiffel Tower View
This Pullman Eiffel Suite review wouldn’t be complete without highlighting its most captivating feature: the view. My extensive research led me to this suite, offering the most mesmerizing view of the Eiffel Tower from a hotel room. Even the concierge service through my American Express Platinum card couldn’t find a more spectacular vantage point. This suite’s unique selling proposition (USP) is, without a doubt, the breathtaking panorama of the Eiffel Tower from its windows.
The suite features a continuous balcony extending from one end to the other, complete with a table and chairs. This outdoor space provides the perfect setting for enjoying the view, especially during the enchanting “sparkle” of the Eiffel Tower, which occurs every hour from 6pm to 1am. It’s a must-capture moment for any Instagram enthusiast.
A Parisian Haven: Hotel Amenities and Location
The hotel is conveniently located on the left bank of Paris, just steps away from the Eiffel Tower. It boasts 430 rooms, encompassing nine different types and three suite options. The hotel also features the FRAME brasserie and a bar, offering a variety of culinary experiences.
Check-in begins at 2pm, and we were able to secure an early check-in at around noon. Checkout is typically at 11am, but we were granted a noon checkout, demonstrating the hotel’s accommodating nature.
A Parisian Adventure: Transportation
The hotel is approximately 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station, a short five-minute walk away, provides easy access to the Charles de Gaulle airport via a combination of the RER B and RER C services, taking just under an hour. The journey costs around 11€ (£9 / $12) one way.
Alternatively, you can take Le Bus Direct on line 2, which takes approximately 60-70 minutes and costs 18€ (£15 / $20) one way. This direct service eliminates the need for transfers. Paid parking is available at the hotel for those who prefer to drive.
A Culinary Delight: Room Service
With the suite’s stunning view and spacious dining table, we opted for room service. The starters range from 11€ (£9 / $12) for soup to 19€ (£16 / $21) for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast, with a grain bowl option in between.
Main courses start at 14€ (£12 / $16) for linguine and reach 37€ (£32 / $41) for a 300g seared strip steak. We indulged in the steak, and it was truly excellent. The hotel staff delivered the meal on a hot plate and thoughtfully set the table for us. Other main course options include a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day.
Desserts average around 12€ (£10 / $13) and include options like chocolate fondant, cheese, and fruit salad. Several dishes across all three courses are available 24 hours a day, with healthy options clearly marked on the menu. A TV Dinner option featuring a sharing platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas for 29€ (£25 / $32) provides a convenient and delicious alternative.
A Parisian Dream Realized: Would I Stay Again?
Without hesitation, I would stay at the Pullman Eiffel Suite again. While the price may seem daunting, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The suite is truly extraordinary, and how often can you say you’ve stayed in a room with a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower? If only I had the financial means to stay at places like this for every trip!
