My recent trip to Paris was truly unforgettable, thanks in large part to my stay at the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel. I had been searching high and low for a hotel with a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower, and this suite exceeded all expectations. It was, without a doubt, the most incredible hotel room I’ve ever experienced.
A Luxurious Haven with Unrivaled Views
This Penthouse Eiffel Suite, previously known as the Eiffel Suite, is a luxurious oasis that offers unparalleled panoramic views of the iconic Eiffel Tower. It was a significant investment, but the experience was worth every penny. This exclusive suite is the only one of its kind in the entire hotel, so securing a booking may require some advanced planning, especially during peak season.
A Spacious and Well-Appointed Suite
Stepping into the suite, I was immediately captivated by its sheer size. It was a whopping 110 square meters – larger than my own apartment! The spaciousness was truly remarkable, especially compared to the average hotel room.
The suite is meticulously designed, featuring a well-stocked bar area with a mini-fridge stocked with prosecco, wine, beer, and soft drinks. While most beverages are not complimentary, the prices are reasonable for a hotel. A Nespresso machine, tea, and a variety of glasses and mugs add to the convenience.
The seating area features a cozy corner sofa, a table, and a 46-inch flat-screen TV with a Bose speaker system. The suite’s floor-to-ceiling windows and doors flood the space with natural light and provide breathtaking views of the city. A spacious dining area with a marble table and comfortable chairs invites you to enjoy delicious room service. For those warm evenings, there’s a private balcony where you can savor your meal while admiring the Eiffel Tower’s twinkling lights. The suite also includes a well-appointed bathroom, located conveniently near the bedroom.
A Luxurious Bedroom and Bathroom
The bedroom, accessible through sliding doors, provides a peaceful retreat. It features a king-size bed with plush pillows, a cozy chaise lounge, another 46-inch flat-screen TV, and direct access to the balcony.
The bathroom is a luxurious sanctuary. A double bath, complete with a generous selection of C. O. Bigelow toiletries, offers a relaxing soak. The shower area features an invigorating rainfall shower and a hand shower for added convenience. Two sinks, two mirrors, and a second toilet complete this opulent space.
Storage, Amenities, and Extra Touches
For longer stays, the Pullman Eiffel Suite offers ample storage space, including a walk-in wardrobe room. A Bose dock with an iPad allows you to enjoy music throughout the suite.
The Unforgettable Eiffel Tower View
The suite’s most remarkable feature is its unrivaled view of the Eiffel Tower. I spent hours researching the best Eiffel Tower views from hotel rooms, and this suite is undoubtedly the best I could find. Even the concierge service I use couldn’t recommend a more spectacular view. The suite’s USP is the breathtaking sight of the Eiffel Tower, visible from every corner.
The continuous balcony stretches along one side of the suite, providing ample space for enjoying the view. A table and chairs are perfect for relaxing and taking in the Parisian atmosphere.
For those looking for Instagram-worthy photos, remember that from 6pm onwards, the Eiffel Tower sparkles for five minutes on the hour until 1am. This is the perfect time to capture the magical beauty of the illuminated tower.
Hotel Amenities and Services
The Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel is conveniently located on the left bank of the Seine, just steps away from the Eiffel Tower. With a total of 430 rooms, including nine different room types and three suite types, there’s something for every traveler. The hotel also features a brasserie, a bar, and a dedicated concierge service. The hotel offers early check-in and late check-out options, with a standard check-in time of 2 pm and a check-out time of 11 am.
Getting to the Pullman Eiffel Tower Hotel
The hotel is situated approximately 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle Airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly Airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station, a short five-minute walk from the hotel, provides convenient access to the city via the RER B and RER C services. This journey from Charles de Gaulle Airport takes about an hour and costs around 11€ (£9 / $12) one way. Alternatively, Le Bus Direct line 2 offers a direct transfer from the airport, taking approximately 60-70 minutes and costing 18€ (£15 / $20) one way. Paid parking is also available at the hotel for those who prefer to drive.
Indulgent Room Service
Given the luxurious suite and its breathtaking views, we decided to enjoy a delightful room service experience. The menu features an array of delicious options, with starters ranging from 11€ (£9 / $12) for soup to 19€ (£16 / $21) for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast. Main courses start at 14€ (£12 / $16) for linguine and go up to 37€ (£32 / $41) for a 300g seared strip steak. We opted for the steak and were thoroughly impressed by its quality and presentation. The hotel staff delivered the dish on a hot plate and set the table for a truly enjoyable dining experience. Other main course options include a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day. Desserts are around 12€ (£10 / $13) on average and feature tempting options such as chocolate fondant, cheese, and fruit salad. Some dishes are available 24 hours a day, and the menu includes a selection of healthy choices. For a more casual dining experience, there’s also a “TV Dinner” option that offers a sharing platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas for 29€ (£25 / $32).
Would I Stay Here Again? Absolutely!
The Pullman Eiffel Suite is an absolute dream come true for any traveler seeking a luxurious and unforgettable experience in Paris. While the price might be a deterrent for some, I believe it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to indulge in the ultimate Parisian experience. The suite’s breathtaking views and exceptional amenities make it an unforgettable stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special and memorable trip.
