Le Dokhan’s itself resides in a stunning 19th-century corner building, a testament to the city’s architectural heritage. The hotel’s elegant facade, with its intricate details, instantly captivated me, promising a stay filled with charm and history. Its prime location offered easy access to public transportation, but I opted for the delightful experience of exploring the neighborhood on foot, taking in the stunning architecture and enjoying the ambiance of local cafes.

Stepping inside Le Dokhan’s was like stepping into a Parisian fairy tale. The hotel’s interior exudes an atmosphere of warmth, elegance, and undeniable charm. The hotel’s intimate size, with only 6 floors and 45 rooms, added to its charm, providing a sense of exclusivity and personalization. But perhaps the most captivating feature was the view. From our suite, the Eiffel Tower stood proudly in the distance, a constant reminder of the city’s magic. Whether it was a morning coffee or a late-night glass of champagne, the breathtaking view never failed to bring a smile to our faces.

We were fortunate to stay in the Eiffel Tower Suite, a coveted haven located on the top floor. It was a truly remarkable space, offering a separate bedroom, living room with a stunning Eiffel Tower view, a walk-in closet, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. The suite was a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The soft carpet, beautiful French wallpaper, and opulent furniture added to the elegant ambiance.
We were also delighted to discover a fireplace in the room, a large TV, a kettle for preparing hot drinks, and a well-stocked minibar. But the most remarkable feature was the bed. It was exceptionally comfortable, offering a peaceful haven after a day of exploring the city. We could hear the gentle patter of rain on the bathroom window, creating a soothing and relaxing atmosphere.
The bathroom, though small, was beautifully appointed with a Jacuzzi bathtub and luxurious Carita toiletries. The plush bathrobes and slippers added to the feeling of comfort and relaxation.
Breakfast Delights: A Parisian Feast
Breakfast at Le Dokhan’s was a true culinary delight. Served in the same room that transforms into the Champagne bar in the evening, it offered a chic and elegant ambiance. The soft green and gold color scheme, reminiscent of the iconic Ladurée bakery, created a sophisticated atmosphere. The white tablecloths added a touch of elegance, while the delectable pastries, including the signature croissants, were a testament to Parisian culinary excellence.
We especially enjoyed the second day’s breakfast with a view, which included poached eggs, cheeses, fresh fruits, and gluten-free biscuits. It was a truly unforgettable breakfast experience.

Le Dokhan’s Champagne Bar is a legend in its own right, being the first of its kind in Paris. Under the expert guidance of sommelier Matthias Breton, the bar boasts the largest champagne menu in the city, offering an impressive selection of 240 different champagnes. To complement the champagne, the bar also offers a delectable menu featuring caviar from Maison Petrossian’s, foie gras, and cheeses.
The bar’s ambiance was truly enchanting, with candlelight casting a romantic glow over the intimate and relaxed setting. The bar’s sophistication was undeniable, offering a truly Parisian experience.

Le Dokhan’s is full of little surprises that add to the overall charm and luxury of the experience. From the unique Louis Vuitton trunk elevator to the custom-made fragrance infused into the fireplace wood, every detail is carefully curated to create a truly exceptional stay.
As an art historian, I was particularly thrilled to discover the hotel’s collection of artwork, including pieces by Picasso and Matisse. It was a delightful surprise to find such treasures hidden away in this charming hotel, making it a true haven for art lovers.
