A Parisian Gem: Hôtel Rochechouart

Step back in time at Hôtel Rochechouart, a historic landmark on the vibrant Boulevard Rochechouart in Paris’ Pigalle neighborhood. This once-famous eight-story building, renowned for its Art Deco style, has been painstakingly restored to its former glory by Orso Hôtels.

A Culinary Journey Through Time

Hôtel Rochechouart offers a tempting array of culinary experiences. The Restaurant Rochechouart, a historical dining destination, has been given a modern makeover while retaining its original charm. This stunning space, designed by Charlotte de Tonnac and Hugo Sauzay, features original blue mosaic tiling, wood, metal, and mirror accents, all bathed in warm ambient lighting.

The Restaurant Rochechouart’s menu boasts a delicious fusion of bistro and bourgeois cuisine, emphasizing fresh, seasonal ingredients. From classic French favorites like homemade semi-cooked foie gras and Endive salad to contemporary delights like Chicken with morels, white wine cream, and homemade fries, there’s something for every palate. Don’t miss the delectable Profiteroles au chocolat for dessert!

From Rooftop Cocktails to Underground Dance Halls

For an unforgettable Parisian experience, head to the ninth floor and enjoy the breathtaking views from Le Bar sur le Toit du Rochechouart. This expansive terrace, open from spring to fall, offers panoramic vistas of the Sacré-Cœur, Montmartre, the Eiffel Tower, and La Défense. Relax on plush benches, lounges, and sofas, sipping cocktails amidst fig and Chinese almond trees.

Looking for a lively night out? Venture down to Le Mikado Dancing, a hidden speakeasy-style club in the basement. Inspired by the opium dens and dance halls of the 1910s and Roaring Twenties, Le Mikado features retro sofas and poufs, velvet curtains, and Japanese lanterns. The expert mixologists will craft your perfect cocktail, and the live DJ sets will keep you dancing all night long.

Hôtel Rochechouart is more than just a hotel; it’s a portal to a bygone era, where Parisian charm and contemporary flair intertwine.
