Imagine waking up to breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower every morning, nestled in a luxurious suite that feels like your own personal Parisian apartment. That was my experience at the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel in the heart of Paris. This suite, previously known as the Eiffel Suite but now renamed the Penthouse Eiffel Suite, was the pinnacle of my travel experiences, leaving a lasting impression that I’ll cherish forever.
The Pullman Eiffel Suite is not for the faint of heart, as its opulent luxury comes at a price. It was the most I’d ever paid for a single night in a hotel, but let me tell you, it was worth every penny. This exclusive suite, the only one of its kind in the entire hotel, offers a truly unique experience that will leave you feeling like royalty.
A Suite Designed for Splendor
Stepping into this sprawling suite, you are immediately greeted by a sense of space and grandeur. The 110 square meters of living space felt like a palace compared to my tiny flat back home. The suite’s layout is a masterpiece of design, with every detail carefully considered to enhance your comfort and enjoyment.
On your right, a beautifully stocked bar awaits, complete with a mini fridge filled with prosecco, wine, beer, water, and soft drinks. While only the water and soft drinks are complimentary, the other beverages are priced competitively for a hotel of this caliber. A Nespresso machine stands ready for your caffeine fix, and a selection of glasses and mugs cater to every drink preference.
Move further into the suite and you’ll discover a cozy seating area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. A plush corner sofa invites you to unwind, while a 46-inch flat-screen TV paired with a Bose speaker system provides entertainment. Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors flood the space with natural light, making you feel like you’re floating amongst the Parisian clouds.
A grand marble dining table, adorned with four comfortable chairs, sets the stage for elegant meals, whether you opt for room service or enjoy the exquisite cuisine of the hotel’s brasserie. For those who prefer dining al fresco, a spacious balcony beckons, offering unparalleled views of the Eiffel Tower and the cityscape.
A Bedroom Fit for a Parisian Dream
The bedroom, a sanctuary of comfort and elegance, can be separated from the main suite with sliding doors, offering complete privacy. A luxurious king-size bed, adorned with some of the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever encountered, invites you to drift away into a blissful sleep. The bedroom is spacious, and every detail is meticulously planned for your comfort, including a chaise longue and another 46-inch flat-screen TV. Double doors lead out to the balcony, providing a seamless connection to the breathtaking views.
The bathroom, an oasis of tranquility, is an experience in itself. A double bath, nestled in the corner, awaits your indulgence, and a generous selection of C.O. Bigelow toiletries ensures a pampering experience. The shower boasts a phenomenal rainfall showerhead, complemented by a convenient hand shower. Two sinks with large mirrors and a separate toilet complete this luxurious haven.
Amenities to Make Your Stay Unforgettable
The Pullman Eiffel Suite is designed for extended stays, offering ample storage space in a walk-in wardrobe room. A Bose dock with an iPad allows you to enjoy your favorite music throughout the suite, creating the perfect ambiance for your Parisian adventure.
The Unforgettable Eiffel Tower View
The true highlight of the Pullman Eiffel Suite is its unrivaled view of the Eiffel Tower. My meticulous research led me to this spectacular view, which even surpassed the recommendations of the concierge service provided by my American Express Platinum card. The suite’s unique selling proposition is, without a doubt, the breathtaking panorama of the iconic Eiffel Tower from within the room.
A continuous balcony stretches across the suite, offering a perfect vantage point to soak in the views. A table and chairs are provided, allowing you to enjoy your morning coffee or a romantic evening cocktail while admiring the Parisian skyline. And don’t forget to catch the Eiffel Tower’s magical sparkle every hour from 6 pm to 1 am. It’s the perfect opportunity to capture some unforgettable Instagram-worthy moments!
A Hotel in the Heart of Paris
The Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel is perfectly situated on the left bank of Paris, steps away from the Eiffel Tower. With 430 rooms, nine different room types, and three suite options, the hotel caters to a wide range of travelers. The hotel also features the FRAME brasserie and a lively bar, providing options for dining and socializing within the hotel.
The hotel’s check-in time is 2 pm, but I was able to request an early check-in and arrive around noon. Check-out is at 11 am, but the hotel was happy to accommodate my request for a noon check-out, demonstrating their exceptional customer service.
Getting to the Hotel
The Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel is conveniently located about 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle Airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly Airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station, a short five-minute walk from the hotel, provides easy access via the RER B and RER C train services. A trip from Charles de Gaulle Airport takes around an hour and costs about 11€ (£9 / $12) one way. Alternatively, you can take Le Bus Direct line 2, which takes approximately 60-70 minutes and costs 18€ (£15 / $20) one way. Paid parking is available at the hotel if you prefer to drive.
Indulgent Room Service
With the suite’s stunning Eiffel Tower view and the spacious marble dining table, we decided to savor the luxurious experience of room service. The menu offered a wide range of culinary delights, with starters ranging from 11€ (£9 / $12) for soup to 19€ (£16 / $21) for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast and a grain bowl in between. The main courses started at 14€ (£12 / $16) for linguine and reached 37€ (£32 / $41) for a 300g seared strip steak. We opted for the steak, which was cooked to perfection. The hotel staff brought it up on a hot plate and set the table for us, adding a touch of personalized service to our dining experience. Other main course options included a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day.
Desserts averaged around 12€ (£10 / $13) and included options like chocolate fondant, cheese, and fruit salad. Many dishes across the three courses were available 24 hours a day, with healthy options marked on the menu. A “TV Dinner” option, offering a sharing platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas for 29€ (£25 / $32), was also available.
Would I Stay Again? Absolutely!
The Pullman Eiffel Suite might be an indulgence for most, but for a special occasion, it’s an experience you won’t forget. The suite is truly magnificent, and how many times will you have the opportunity to say you stayed in a room with such a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower? I highly recommend this extraordinary suite for a truly unforgettable Parisian getaway.
