Get ready to experience the magic of Paris! We’re here to make your journey as smooth as possible, so let’s dive into some important details you’ll want to know.
Your Journey Begins
The price for infants (0-23 months) traveling with you is $210 for a seat in coach class only. If you’re traveling alone, you’ll have a single supplement of $195. For more general information about our tours, feel free to click here. If you have any questions, our Frequently Asked Questions page might already have the answers.
Currency & Finances
The currency used in France is the Euro. We strongly recommend you exchange any spending money you’ll need before your trip. It can be a hassle to find ATMs or places that accept credit/debit cards while on tour. And, it’s good to have some coins handy because many public restrooms in Europe require a small fee.
USD, GBP, or travelers’ checks aren’t widely accepted at locations on this tour.
Travel Tips
Remember, touring involves some long journeys, especially when moving between cities. It’s always a good idea to carry essential items in your hand luggage, like water, snacks, and a camera.
This tour includes extensive travel times, so keep that in mind as you plan. Here’s a quick summary of the distances you’ll cover:

Meals & Dietary Needs
Your hotel will provide breakfast, which usually consists of continental fare like tea, coffee, bread, cereal, fruit, and yogurt. You’ll enjoy a separate dining area for your morning meal.
We offer dietary options for vegetarian, Jain, or non-vegetarian (Halal may not always be available). Let your tour representative know your preferred diet on the first day. Please note that meals are buffet-style with pre-set options, and you won’t have a choice of menu. Only tap water will be provided with meals.
Lunches are not included in this tour. We recommend bringing your own lunch if you have specific dietary needs, as options at service stations or excursions might be limited.
Important Notes & Accommodation

Not all hotels on this tour have air conditioning, so it’s a good idea to bring a small portable fan, especially during summer. And, keep in mind that not all hotels offer kettles, so you might want to pack a bottle warmer, kettle, or thermos flask if you need hot water. You might also want to bring a small travel iron and hairdryer, as these amenities aren’t always available in hotel rooms.
In Europe, especially in France, some hotels provide two single beds put together to create a double occupancy room. This allows for multi-use, and we work with hotels that have this configuration, so be prepared for this possibility.
If you use services like the phone, mini-bar, or pay TV in your room, you’ll need to pay the hotel directly upon check-out. These services are not included in your tour cost.
Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris can get busy, especially during peak times, so it’s smart to orient yourself before you arrive by visiting their website and looking at the latest map. There’s so much to see, so consider prioritizing your must-do attractions to avoid disappointment. Don’t miss the famous Disney Parades, where beloved characters bring the streets to life with a unique and interactive experience.
Please note that on this tour, you won’t be staying at Disney until closing, so you won’t see the evening fireworks, parade, or illuminations. If you want to experience these activities, you’ll need to make your own way back to your hotel. You’ll miss dinner and transfers, and no compensation will be provided.
The resort is made up of two parks: Disneyland Park, packed with rides and attractions, and Walt Disney Studios Park. Your tickets will allow you access to either park.
When you arrive at the park, consider using the Fastpass service, a free service that can help you reduce waiting times for certain attractions (subject to availability and operation).
Versailles & Other Attractions
The Louvre entrance ticket is not included. Remember, the Louvre is vast, covering thousands of artifacts, so the time provided is limited. Make the most of it by seeing key artifacts like the Mona Lisa or the Marley Horses.
Your entrance is only to the Gardens of Versailles, and it might not be possible to enter the Chateau, even if you want to visit independently due to the number of visitors and time constraints.
Transportation
Passengers should arrive at their pick-up point no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Your pick-up point, address, and time will be listed on your invoice. If you’ve chosen a pick-up time outside of Wembley, Southall, or East Ham, your pick-up time will be confirmed.
Return journeys from the continent are scheduled to arrive at Dover or Folkestone between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM approximately. We will then proceed to the original pick-up points in London (arrival time between 10:30 PM and 12:30 AM +1).
Outside London pick-up points: Transportation may be arranged by a private car, minibus, or an alternative coach for your journey to and from London. On rare occasions, there may be up to an hour wait for a connecting transfer on the return. Passengers can expect to receive a call from Star to confirm details a day prior to their departure. Star Tours reserves the right to amend any pick-up time 12 hours prior to departure.
The following pick-up points may not be available for this tour:

Passport & Visa Information
All nationals require a passport valid for three months beyond the length of stay and issued within the past 10 years. This requirement applies except for EU nationals holding a passport or national ID card that is valid for the duration of their stay.
If you hold an Indian, Pakistani, or Bangladesh passport, you’ll need to obtain a Schengen Visa before traveling. Many nationalities, like British, EU, and American nationals, do not require Schengen visas. If you need further clarification, please contact us.
Weather & Packing
Parisian weather can be unpredictable, much like England’s. Regardless of the time of year, it’s wise to bring an umbrella. Temperatures vary depending on the location, so check online for average temperatures in the destinations you’ll be visiting based on the time of year.
Be prepared by packing appropriate clothing, footwear, and accessories. Remember that during the winter months, most sightseeing happens in the dark, as the sun sets early in Europe. If you have any questions, consult with Star Tours at the time of booking.
Accessibility & Children
We accept lightweight manual wheelchairs for travel as long as they can be safely stored in the coach’s luggage hold. It’s essential that a family member is on tour to push the wheelchair. We’ll also request hotels for appropriately equipped rooms, but this is only on a request basis and cannot be guaranteed. It’s important to note that the Eiffel Tower and some rides at Disney are not fully accessible for wheelchair users.
In most European countries, using child seats on coaches is mandatory for children under 12 years old or shorter than 150 cm. Children under 7 years old or shorter than 125 cm must use a child seat with a harness or restraint system. Children between 7 and 12 years old or between 125 and 150 cm tall must use a booster seat or a seat cushion. It’s the responsibility of the child’s parent or guardian to provide the appropriate child seat.
