Get ready for your journey with Delta Air Lines! We’re here to provide all the essential details about your flight, making sure you’re well-informed and prepared for your trip.
Let’s talk about the basics. All fares listed on delta.com are based on real-time pricing and are subject to availability. Keep in mind, these prices can fluctuate, so it’s wise to book your tickets as soon as possible!
Earning Miles with SkyMiles
Join the SkyMiles program and earn miles on most Delta flights. It’s a great way to rack up points for future trips! However, tickets purchased under the Basic Economy option don’t earn miles, nor do they contribute to Medallion Status.
Ready to learn more about the SkyMiles program? Our Membership Guide & Program Rules has all the details about earning miles, redeeming points, and the awesome travel benefits you can enjoy.
Understanding Basic Economy
If you’re on a budget, Basic Economy fares offer an affordable option. But, there are a few things to know:
- Basic Economy tickets are non-refundable and can’t be changed. So, make sure you’ve got the right dates and destination locked in before purchasing!
- You won’t get a pre-assigned seat until you check in.
- No upgrades are available, even if you’re willing to pay.
Don’t worry, you’re not in the dark. All the specifics about Basic Economy can be found in our Basic Economy rules section.
Your Seat and Onboard Experience
The comfort and amenities on board vary depending on the aircraft type and size. Curious about the specific features on your flight? Check out our seat products and Onboard Experience page to get a glimpse of your journey.
