Imagine this: you’re strolling through the City of Lights, the iconic Eiffel Tower looming above you. But instead of joining the throngs in the long elevator queues, you’re headed straight for a romantic evening at the 58 Tour Eiffel restaurant, located on the first floor of the tower.
This is the experience my husband and I had, and we were thrilled to escape the tourist crowds and enter a world of French elegance.
A Touch of Parisian Glamour
We joined a small line of other fortunate diners, eager to enjoy the spectacular views and delectable cuisine promised by the restaurant. As we waited, the excitement mounted, and we felt a sense of anticipation for what was to come.
The grand double doors swung open at precisely 6:30 pm, revealing two levels of sophisticated dining. Tourists were seated in a separate area, allowing for a more intimate experience for couples and small groups.
A Night of Culinary Delights
The 58 Tour Eiffel offers three pre-booked dinner options, ranging in price based on the table location and whether wine is included. We were lucky enough to secure a “privileged seating in the main room”, which offered a stunning view of the Trocadéro – a privilege reserved for the more expensive tables.
The restaurant’s ambiance was refined and elegant, with minimalist furnishings and soft lighting that enhanced the breathtaking views. The atmosphere was lively yet romantic, a perfect blend of Parisian charm and modern elegance.
Exceeding Expectations
The service was efficient yet friendly, and the food was exceptionally well-prepared. We were delighted by the entrée of spiced king prawns, served atop a colorful array of avocado, grapefruit, and sweet edible blooms. The roast herbed guinea fowl breast was quintessentially French, as was my husband’s grilled lamb.
The dessert was a rich chocolate marquise, the perfect ending to our delightful evening.
A Parisian Adventure
The 58 Tour Eiffel is a truly unique dining experience, offering a combination of exquisite cuisine, breathtaking views, and a touch of Parisian magic. It’s the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or simply indulge in a memorable evening.
We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience in the City of Lights.
