The Brasserie: A Taste of Parisian Bistro Charm

Prepare to be enchanted by the new Brasserie, a haven of Parisian bistro delights. Located on the Tower’s first floor, the Brasserie, currently known as 58 Tour Eiffel, will be transformed under the expert direction of double-starred chef Thierry Marx. Before undergoing a comprehensive renovation from September 2019 to February 2020, the restaurant will offer new menus created by Thierry Marx for lunch and dinner, beginning on March 13th!

Experience the magic of the Brasserie’s new space, designed by the visionary duo of Ramy Fischler, 2018 Designer of the Year and founder of RF Studio, and Nicola Delon, co-founder of the Encore Heureux collective. The two-level architectural project will enhance the space with “island” configurations, maximizing views and highlighting the Tower’s iconic structure.

Indulge in Thierry Marx’s vision for the Brasserie, a universal culinary haven. He envisions a Parisian bistro cuisine that embraces simple, high-quality ingredients and celebrates the essence of French gastronomy. Furthermore, the Brasserie is committed to environmental sustainability and social responsibility, sourcing ingredients primarily from within a 200km radius of Paris and minimizing waste.

A Taste of Parisian Delight: Take Away Delights on Every Floor

From the Esplanade to the top, the Eiffel Tower offers a culinary adventure for every taste bud.

Enjoy a taste of Paris as you explore the iconic landmark. From April to December 2019, the Tower will be buzzing with delectable offerings at various sales and tasting points. On the Esplanade, savor the delicious Eiffel Tower cones, both sweet and savory, perfect for enjoying on the go. Food tricycles will also be on hand, tempting visitors with seasonal snacks like Parisian hot dogs, detox bars, soup or ice cream bars, and sweet treats. No need to wait in line at kiosks: “bees” on the Esplanade will be ready to deliver your pancakes or waffles directly to you, making your experience even more enjoyable.

Experience a Parisian bistro ambiance on the first floor. The former buffet will be transformed into a traditional Parisian bistro, the Eiffel Tower Bistro, offering takeaway sandwiches created by Thierry Marx during the day and a sit-down dinner in the evening featuring local specialties, beginning in December 2019.

Delight in the Eiffel Tower’s second floor. “Comptoir” stands will offer a colorful array of exclusive takeaway options, including mini sandwiches, a variety of pastries, and original pastries from the prestigious Guilde des artisans, renowned for their culinary expertise.

Reach new heights of culinary indulgence. The Champagne Bar, perched high above the city at 905 feet, expands this spring, offering a unique experience in a “capsule between earth and sky.” Indulge in the finest champagne and French caviar, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Behind the Eiffel Tower’s culinary transformation is a team dedicated to providing an exceptional experience. Since October 1st, 2018, the food and beverage concession has been entrusted to Umanis, led by Sodexo in collaboration with three esteemed partners: starred chef Frédéric Anton (3) for the Jules Verne, starred chef Thierry Marx (2) for the first floor Brasserie, and Ubudu, a specialist in visitor flow management.

Experience the artistry of the “Guilde des artisans,” a network of Parisian and Ile-de-France food artisans, handpicked for their exceptional craftsmanship and dedication to sustainable practices. Led by Sodexo Sports and Loisirs, this “Guild of Craftsmen” offers a curated selection of local and seasonal products, chosen by a jury chaired by Chef Thierry Marx. These exquisite offerings are available to the Tower’s six million annual visitors, showcasing the best of Parisian culinary expertise.

This collaboration between local artisans and the Eiffel Tower reflects a commitment to promoting local talent, contributing to the local economy, and fostering a shared passion for the iconic monument.
