Imagine waking up to breathtaking views of the iconic Eiffel Tower every morning. This isn’t just a dream; it’s the reality of staying in the Pullman Eiffel Suite at the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel. This luxury suite, known as the Penthouse Eiffel Suite now, is more than just a room; it’s an experience. I spent hours researching the best Eiffel Tower views in Paris, and this suite topped the list. You won’t find a more spectacular vantage point anywhere else.
A Pricey But Unforgettable Experience
This unparalleled view doesn’t come cheap. The Pullman Eiffel Suite is the most I’ve ever spent on a single night in a hotel, a price that could easily cover a week-long stay in a standard hotel. However, the suite is unique, the only one of its kind in the entire hotel. So, if you’re set on experiencing this luxury, book early, especially for popular dates.
Spacious Suite with Luxury Amenities
The Pullman Eiffel Suite is more than just a room with a view; it’s a luxurious haven. At 110 square meters, it’s larger than my entire flat! This sprawling space is unheard of in most hotels, especially when you consider the average UK hotel room size is a mere 32 square meters. The spaciousness of this suite is truly remarkable.
A Suite Designed for Indulgence
Step inside and be greeted by a fully stocked bar with a mini-fridge brimming with prosecco, wine, beer, water, and soft drinks. While only the water and soft drinks are complimentary, the other beverages are priced reasonably, comparable to what you’d find in most hotels. A Nespresso machine provides the perfect cup of coffee, and you’ll find a selection of glasses and mugs to suit your beverage.
Next, you’ll encounter a comfortable seating area with a corner sofa, a table, and a 46-inch flat-screen TV equipped with a Bose speaker system for both music and TV enjoyment. Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors flood the suite with natural light and provide uninterrupted views. Adjacent to the seating area is a grand marble dining table that seats four comfortably. Enjoy delicious room service (detailed below) or dine al fresco on the balcony when the weather permits. A bathroom completes this section before you reach the bedroom.
A Luxurious Bedroom for Rest and Relaxation
The bedroom, separated from the main suite by sliding doors, offers a king-size bed with some of the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever encountered. The room features a chaise longue, a 46-inch flat-screen TV, and double doors that open directly onto the balcony.
A Spa-Like Bathroom for Ultimate Relaxation
The bathroom is truly a luxurious oasis. It features a double bath with a generous selection of C.O. Bigelow toiletries. The shower area boasts an amazing rainfall shower, with a handheld shower for added convenience. Two sinks, two large mirrors, and a second toilet complete this lavish space.
Storage Space and Entertainment Options
The Pullman Eiffel Suite caters to extended stays with ample storage space, including a walk-in wardrobe. A Bose dock with an iPad allows you to play music throughout the suite, setting the mood for any occasion.
The View That Makes it All Worthwhile
The Pullman Eiffel Suite wouldn’t be complete without mentioning its most captivating feature: the breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. I poured over countless options to find the best view from a hotel room, and this suite emerged as the undisputed champion. Even the concierge service I use through my American Express Platinum card couldn’t find anything better.
The continuous balcony stretches across the entire suite, offering a perfect spot to relax with a table and chairs. From 6pm onwards, the Eiffel Tower sparkles every hour for five minutes until 1am. Capture this magical sight for your Instagram feed.
Hotel Amenities and Location
The Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel is ideally located on the left bank of Paris, right next to the Eiffel Tower. With 430 rooms across nine different types and three suite options, there’s a perfect choice for every traveler. The hotel also boasts the FRAME brasserie and a bar for dining and drinks.
Check-in starts at 2pm, but the hotel was more than happy to accommodate our request for an early check-in. We arrived at around noon. Check-out is at 11am, but we were granted a noon check-out, showcasing their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Getting to the Hotel
The hotel is approximately 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station is a short five-minute walk away, and you can reach it from Charles de Gaulle airport using a combination of the RER B and RER C services in under an hour. This journey costs around 11€ (£9/$12) one-way.
Alternatively, Le Bus Direct line 2 takes about 60-70 minutes and costs 18€ (£15/$20) one-way. It’s a direct route with no transfers. You can also drive to the hotel, as paid parking is available.
Indulge in Room Service
With the stunning view of the Eiffel Tower from our suite and a spacious marble dining table, we couldn’t resist indulging in room service. Starters range from 11€ (£9/$12) for soup to 19€ (£16/$21) for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast and a grain bowl.
Main courses start at 14€ (£12/$16) for linguine and go up to 37€ (£32/$41) for a 300g seared strip steak. We opted for the steak, and it was absolutely delicious! The attentive staff brought it up on a hot plate and set the table, ensuring a truly enjoyable dining experience. Other main course options include a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day.
Desserts are around 12€ (£10/$13) on average and include options like chocolate fondant, cheese, and fruit salad. Some dishes across all three courses are available 24 hours a day, with healthy options highlighted on the menu. A TV Dinner option offers a sharing platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas for 29€ (£25/$32).
Would I Stay Again? Absolutely!
The price tag for the Pullman Eiffel Suite may seem daunting, but for a special occasion, it’s an experience you won’t forget. This suite is extraordinary, offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stay in a room with an unparalleled view of the Eiffel Tower. I wish I had the means to stay in such luxurious accommodations for every trip!
If you’re looking for a truly unforgettable Parisian getaway, the Pullman Eiffel Suite should be at the top of your list.
