A Night in the Clouds: The Pullman Eiffel Suite Review

The Eiffel Tower is one of the most iconic landmarks in the world, and what better way to experience it than from your hotel room? This review dives into my stay at the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel and its Penthouse Eiffel Suite, a luxurious haven with unparalleled views of the city’s most famous attraction.

Eiffel Tower View from the Bathroom

An Unforgettable Experience

This was undoubtedly the best hotel suite I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The suite surpassed my expectations, offering more space than my entire flat and breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower. It was the result of hours of meticulous research, and if you’re looking for a hotel room with spectacular Eiffel Tower vistas, look no further. This suite is truly exceptional, and you’d be hard-pressed to find anything better in Paris.

Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel Bedroom

A Pricey Paradise

A private view of the Eiffel Tower doesn’t come cheap. This suite is the most expensive hotel room I’ve ever booked, costing more than a week’s stay at some hotels! It’s the only suite of its kind in the entire hotel, so booking ahead is essential, especially during peak seasons.

Best Room View Eiffel Tower

Spacious and Luxurious

The suite boasts an impressive 110 square meters of living space, exceeding the average UK hotel room size by a whopping 50%! It’s truly spacious and luxurious, making you feel like royalty.

Amenities Fit for a King

As you enter the suite, you’re greeted by a fully stocked bar area. The mini-fridge is filled with prosecco, wine, beer, water, and soft drinks. While only the water and soft drinks are complimentary, the other beverages are priced competitively. You’ll also find a Nespresso machine for your coffee fix and a selection of glasses and mugs to suit your beverage of choice.

The next area is a comfortable seating area with a corner sofa, a table, and a 46-inch flat-screen TV with a Bose speaker system. Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors throughout the suite provide uninterrupted views and natural light.

A large marble dining table with four comfy chairs provides the perfect setting for enjoying room service or a private dinner with a view. The spacious balcony offers an outdoor dining option for those lovely Parisian evenings. A bathroom is conveniently located before you reach the bedroom.

A Bedroom Fit for a Queen

The bedroom can be separated from the main suite with sliding doors, offering privacy and tranquility. The king-size bed is adorned with luxurious pillows, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The bedroom is well-appointed, with a chaise longue and another 46-inch flat-screen TV. Double doors lead directly to the balcony, allowing you to step out and enjoy the magnificent views any time of day or night.

A Bathroom of Dreams

The spacious bathroom is a haven of relaxation. A double bathtub, filled with C. O. Bigelow toiletries, beckons you to unwind after a day of exploring Paris. The shower is equipped with a luxurious rainfall showerhead and a handheld shower for added versatility. The bathroom also features two sinks, two large mirrors, and a separate toilet, ensuring comfort for two.

The Star of the Show: The Eiffel Tower View

The view of the Eiffel Tower from this suite is simply breathtaking. It’s the highlight of the entire experience. I researched extensively to find the best Eiffel Tower view from a hotel room, and this suite was by far the best I could find. Even the concierge service at my American Express Platinum card couldn’t locate a better view. This is undoubtedly the suite’s most valuable asset.

The balcony runs the entire length of the suite, offering uninterrupted views of the Eiffel Tower and the city skyline. There’s a table and chairs for enjoying a drink or a meal with a view.

Pro tip: From 6 pm, the Eiffel Tower sparkles for five minutes on the hour until 1 am. This is the perfect opportunity for capturing Instagram-worthy photos.

The hotel is located on the left bank of Paris, right next to the Eiffel Tower. It offers 430 rooms in nine different types, including three suite types. There’s a brasserie and a bar for dining and drinks. Check-in begins at 2 pm, and early check-in is often possible. Check-out is at 11 am, but later check-outs can be arranged.

Getting to the Hotel

The hotel is approximately 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station is a short five-minute walk away. You can reach it from Charles de Gaulle Airport using a combination of RER B and RER C services in under an hour for around 11€. Alternatively, Le Bus Direct line 2 takes approximately 60-70 minutes and costs 18€. Paid parking is available at the hotel for those driving.

Dining Delights

With the suite’s stunning views and luxurious dining table, dining at the brasserie seemed unnecessary. We opted for room service, which offered a tempting variety of dishes.

Starters ranged from 11€ for soup to 19€ for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast. Main courses started at 14€ for linguine and reached 37€ for a 300g seared strip steak. We couldn’t resist the steak and were impressed by its quality. The hotel staff brought it up on a hot plate and set the table for us, ensuring a delightful dining experience. Other main course options included a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day.

Desserts averaged around 12€, with options like chocolate fondant, cheese, and fruit salad. Some dishes were available 24 hours a day, and the menu included healthy options. There’s also a “TV Dinner” option, featuring a sharing platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas for 29€.

A Must-Stay Destination

Would I stay at the Pullman Eiffel Suite again? Absolutely! The price might be a deterrent for many, but for a special occasion, it’s an unforgettable experience. The suite is truly exceptional, and how often do you get to stay in a room with such an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower? I highly recommend it!
