A Parisian Dream: The Pullman Eiffel Suite Review

Imagine waking up to the iconic Eiffel Tower right outside your window. This isn’t a dream, it’s the reality of staying in the Pullman Eiffel Suite at the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel. I can confidently say this was the most incredible hotel stay of my life. The suite, bigger than my entire flat, offers a truly breathtaking panoramic view of the Eiffel Tower. You’ll struggle to find a more luxurious experience with such an impressive vista, especially in the heart of Paris.

A View That Costs

This privilege doesn’t come cheap, though. The Pullman Eiffel Suite, the only one of its kind in the hotel, is the most I’ve ever spent on a single night in a hotel. It’s worth considering, however, that this price tag would usually get you a week-long vacation. If you’re looking to experience the Eiffel Tower in all its glory, this suite is the ultimate Parisian escape.

Space and Luxury

The Pullman Eiffel Suite is a spacious haven at 110 square meters, a whopping 50% larger than the flat I was living in at the time! It’s hard to comprehend this amount of space, especially compared to the average UK hotel room. The suite is designed for both relaxation and grand occasions.

An Oasis of Comfort

Upon entering, you’re greeted by a well-stocked bar area with a mini-fridge full of drinks, including prosecco, wine, beer, and soft drinks. While only water and soft drinks are complimentary, the other beverages are priced reasonably.

The seating area, featuring a cozy corner sofa, a 46-inch flat-screen TV with a Bose sound system, and floor-to-ceiling windows, provides the perfect spot to soak in the views. A large marble dining table with comfortable chairs offers an elegant setting for enjoying room service or simply appreciating the surroundings. For warmer days, you can dine on the spacious balcony. A conveniently located bathroom completes this luxurious space.

A Sanctuary for Sleep

Beyond the main area lies a luxurious bedroom, separated by sliding doors. This space is a haven of comfort, featuring a king-size bed with some of the most plush pillows I’ve ever encountered. A chaise longue and another 46-inch flat-screen TV add to the relaxing ambiance. The bedroom has double doors leading directly to the balcony, making it easy to step out and enjoy the fresh Parisian air.

A Spa-like Bathroom

The bathroom is nothing short of spectacular. A large corner bathtub awaits with a generous selection of C. O. Bigelow toiletries. The shower area features an invigorating rainfall shower head and a convenient hand shower. Two sinks with large mirrors and a second toilet add to the luxurious feel.

Amenities for Every Need

For longer stays, the suite provides ample storage space, including a walk-in closet. A Bose dock with an iPad is perfect for playing music throughout the suite, adding to the ambiance.

The Eiffel Tower Show

The true star of the show, however, is the view. I spent countless hours researching to find the best Eiffel Tower view from a hotel room, and this suite exceeded my expectations. Even the concierge service I use through my American Express Platinum card couldn’t find anything better.

The continuous balcony that runs the length of the suite provides the perfect spot to admire the iconic landmark.

A Convenient Location

The Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel sits on the left bank of the Seine River, just a stone’s throw from the Eiffel Tower. The hotel boasts 430 rooms, including nine different types and three different suite options. The hotel also has a brasserie called FRAME, perfect for a casual meal or a drink, and a bar for those seeking a more lively ambiance.

A Smooth Stay

Check-in begins at 2 pm, and we were lucky enough to secure an early check-in around noon. Check-out is typically 11 am, but we were able to extend it to noon, demonstrating the hotel’s accommodating nature.

Getting There

The hotel is approximately 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle Airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly Airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station, a short five-minute walk away, is accessible by combining the RER B and RER C services from Charles de Gaulle Airport. This journey takes about an hour and costs around 11€ (£9 / $12) one way. Another option is Le Bus Direct on line 2, which takes roughly 60-70 minutes and costs 18€ (£15 / $20) one way. For those who prefer driving, the hotel offers paid parking.

Room Service Indulgence

With the stunning view of the Eiffel Tower from our suite, the massive dining table, and the allure of room service, we opted to stay in for our meals. The room service menu offered an enticing selection. Starters ranged from 11€ (£9 / $12) for soup to 19€ (£16 / $21) for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast.

Main courses started at 14€ (£12 / $16) for linguine and went up to 37€ (£32 / $41) for a 300g seared strip steak. We indulged in the steak, and it was absolutely delicious. The hotel staff brought it up on a hot plate and set the table for us, providing an extra touch of service. Other main course options included a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day.

Desserts, priced around 12€ (£10 / $13), offered options such as chocolate fondant, cheese, and fruit salad. Several dishes across all three courses were available 24 hours a day, with healthy options clearly marked on the menu. A TV Dinner option with a sharing platter of smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas for 29€ (£25 / $32) was also available.

An Unforgettable Experience

Overall, my stay in the Pullman Eiffel Suite was truly unforgettable. While the price might seem intimidating, the luxurious experience and the breathtaking views are worth every penny. If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, this suite is a must-visit. The unique opportunity to stay in a room with a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower is something I’ll cherish forever.
