The Most Amazing View of the Eiffel Tower from a Hotel Room

This is a review about my experience staying in the Penthouse Eiffel Suite at the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel. Believe me, this suite was the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed in! It was even bigger than my entire flat and had the most incredible view of the Eiffel Tower. I spent hours researching before choosing this suite, and if you’re looking for an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, look no further.

This was the most expensive hotel room I’ve ever stayed in – you’d expect to pay for a whole week at a hotel for this price! This is the only suite of this kind in the entire hotel, so if you want it, you’ll need to book early, especially for popular dates. Let’s take a look at the Penthouse Eiffel Suite and see what you get for your money.

The Perfect Suite

The suite is huge! It’s 110 square meters – that’s 50% bigger than my flat in Scotland! That’s quite a bit more space than the average UK hotel room, which is usually around 32 square meters.

As you walk in, you’ll be greeted by the bar area on your right. The bar is fully stocked with a mini fridge full of prosecco, wine, beer, water, and soft drinks. Only the water and soft drinks are complimentary, but the other drinks are priced competitively. There’s also a Nespresso machine for coffee and tea, plus a selection of glasses and mugs for every beverage.

The next area is the seating area, featuring a comfortable corner sofa, a table, and a 46-inch flat-screen TV with a Bose speaker system. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors flood the suite with natural light and provide breathtaking views. Beyond the seating area, you’ll find a large marble dining table with four comfortable chairs, perfect for enjoying room service or simply taking in the view. You can even dine outside on the balcony if the weather permits. There is also a bathroom before you reach the bedroom.

Next comes the bedroom, which can be closed off from the main suite with sliding doors. The bedroom features a king-size bed with some of the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever slept on. The bedroom is spacious and includes all the usual amenities, plus a chaise longue and another 46-inch flat-screen TV. The bedroom also has double doors leading to the balcony.

Luxurious Bathroom

On the other side of the bedroom, you’ll find the lavish bathroom. It has a double bath with an excellent selection of C. O. Bigelow toiletries. The shower is incredible, with a rain showerhead and a hand shower. The bathroom also includes two sinks, two large mirrors, and a second toilet.

The Pullman Eiffel Suite offers ample storage space, including a walk-in wardrobe and a Bose dock with an iPad for playing music throughout the suite.

The View – The Real Highlight

This review wouldn’t be complete without discussing the breathtaking view. I spent a lot of time searching for the best view of the Eiffel Tower from a hotel room, and this was by far the best I found. I even contacted the concierge service through my American Express Platinum card, and they couldn’t find anything better!

The view from the suite is truly spectacular. There is a continuous balcony, running along one side of the suite, with a table and chairs.

Here’s a top tip: From 6 pm, the Eiffel Tower sparkles for five minutes every hour until 1 am. This is the perfect time to capture some Instagram-worthy photos!

A Convenient Location

The hotel is located on the left bank of Paris, right next to the Eiffel Tower. It boasts 430 rooms, including nine different room types and three suite types. The hotel also features the FRAME brasserie and a bar.

Check-in starts at 2 pm, and we were able to request an early check-in, arriving around noon. Check-out is at 11 am, but we requested a noon check-out, and the hotel was very accommodating.

Easy Access & Great Transportation Options

The hotel is about 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station is just a five-minute walk away, and you can reach it from Charles de Gaulle airport using a combination of the RER B and RER C services in about an hour. This will cost around 11€ (£9 / $12) one way.

Alternatively, you can take Le Bus Direct on line 2, which takes about 60-70 minutes and costs 18€ (£15 / $20) one way. This option doesn’t require any transfers. You can also drive to the hotel, as paid parking is available.

Room Service

With the stunning view of the Eiffel Tower from our suite and the massive marble table, we opted for room service rather than venturing down to the brasserie.

Starters range from 11€ (£9 / $12) for soup to 19€ (£16 / $21) for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast or a grain bowl.

Main courses start at 14€ (£12 / $16) for linguine and go up to 37€ (£32 / $41) for a 300g seared strip steak. We both chose the steak, and it was excellent! The staff brought it up to our room and kept it on a hot plate while setting the table, which was a nice touch. The other main course options were a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day.

Desserts average around 12€ (£10 / $13) and include chocolate fondant, cheese, and fruit salad options. Some dishes across the three courses are available 24 hours a day, with healthy options marked on the menu. There’s also a “TV Dinner” option, offering a sharing platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas for 29€ (£25 / $32).

Would I Stay Again? Absolutely!

Would I stay at the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel again? Absolutely! The price of the suite might be a deterrent for most people, but for a special occasion, I loved it. The suite is fantastic, and how often can you say you’ve stayed in a room with such an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower? If only I had the money to stay in places like this for all my trips!
