A Parisian Feast with a View: Exploring the 58 Tour Eiffel Restaurant

The Eiffel Tower, a symbol of Paris, is much more than just a stunning architectural marvel. It’s also home to a culinary journey that has evolved over the years, culminating in the elegant 58 Tour Eiffel restaurant.

From Humble Beginnings to Chic Brasserie

When the Eiffel Tower first opened its doors in 1889, four restaurants graced its first floor, their kitchens humming with the warmth of gaslight. The 1937 International Exposition brought about a change, replacing these restaurants with two new establishments. Fast forward to the 1980s, and the Eiffel Tower underwent a major transformation, including a refresh of its restaurants, now known as La Belle France and Le Parisien.

These two restaurants eventually merged, creating a spacious brasserie called Altitude 95, designed by Slavik and Loup with a whimsical hot air balloon theme. This name was a perfect fit, as the restaurant sits 95 meters above sea level.

A New Era of Chic and Cuisine

A complete renovation in 2009 saw the Altitude 95 transform into the stylish 58 Tour Eiffel, a name inspired by its location on the 58th floor. This new look was masterminded by Patrick Jouin, who also designed the interior of the renowned Jules Verne restaurant.

The culinary experience at 58 Tour Eiffel is under the direction of Chef Alain Soulard, who has worked alongside the celebrated Alain Ducasse. His focus on high-quality French cuisine, coupled with a commitment to multicultural options, ensures there’s something to tantalize every palate.

Chic Picnic Lunches and Evening Delights

From 11:30 am to 4:30 pm, the 58 Tour Eiffel offers a non-stop service for chic picnic-style lunches. You can choose from two or three course options, with dishes like Caesar salad, seared bonito tuna, and roasted poultry risotto. These delightful meals are served in baskets, adding to the unique picnic ambiance.

The evening experience at the 58 Tour Eiffel takes on a different character. With two seatings at 6:30 pm and 9 pm, guests are treated to a contemporary setting. The soft lighting, minimalist furniture, and breathtaking views create a truly unforgettable dining experience. The menu showcases classic French cuisine served in a chic and modern setting.

A Culinary Journey Awaits

The 58 Tour Eiffel offers a variety of menus, catering to different tastes and budgets. Whether you’re looking for a casual picnic lunch or a special occasion dinner, you’re sure to find something to tempt your taste buds.

From delectable starters like seared tiger prawns to mouthwatering main courses like roasted leg of lamb, the 58 Tour Eiffel offers an array of exquisite French cuisine. For those seeking a truly luxurious experience, the Service Premier offers a tasting menu with an aperitif, multiple courses, and a selection of wines, all enjoyed in the elegant main dining room.

No matter your dining preference, the 58 Tour Eiffel promises a unique and memorable experience, with breathtaking views and delicious French cuisine that will leave you wanting more.
