Have you ever dreamt of waking up to the iconic Eiffel Tower right outside your window? This is not just a dream, it’s a reality at the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel. I recently stayed in their Penthouse Eiffel Suite, and it was hands down the most amazing hotel experience of my life!
This is a review you don’t want to miss, especially if you’re planning a trip to Paris and want to treat yourself to something truly special.
A Suite with a View
This suite is not your average hotel room. It’s massive, more spacious than my entire flat! The spectacular panoramic view of the Eiffel Tower is the star of the show. I spent hours researching the best hotel rooms in Paris with Eiffel Tower views, and this suite truly exceeded my expectations.
However, this privilege doesn’t come cheap. The Penthouse Eiffel Suite is the most expensive hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, costing more than what I’d usually spend on a week-long trip. But, trust me, it’s worth every penny. This is the only suite of its kind in the entire hotel, so you’ll need to be quick to book it, especially for popular dates.
Luxury and Space
Stepping into the suite is like entering a palace. The 110 square meters of space are breathtaking, especially compared to the average UK hotel room. Imagine a bar area stocked with premium drinks, a cozy seating area with a 46-inch flat-screen TV, a magnificent marble dining table, and a luxurious bedroom with a king-size bed. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors provide an uninterrupted view of the iconic landmark.
The bathroom is equally impressive, with a double bathtub, a rainfall shower, two sinks, and two toilets. For extended stays, you’ll appreciate the walk-in wardrobe and the Bose dock with an iPad to play music throughout the suite.
The Highlight: An Unforgettable View
The Penthouse Eiffel Suite is truly special, but the highlight is undoubtedly the view. It’s simply breathtaking, the best Eiffel Tower view I’ve ever seen. I even contacted my American Express Platinum concierge service, and they couldn’t find a better view either. You can literally see the Eiffel Tower from every corner of the suite.
The continuous balcony adds another layer of charm, providing the perfect spot for enjoying a glass of wine while taking in the breathtaking views. And don’t forget to catch the Eiffel Tower’s magical sparkle at 6 pm, lasting for five minutes every hour until 1 am. This is a perfect photo opportunity for your Instagram feed.
Hotel Amenities and Location
The Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel is conveniently located on the left bank of the Seine River, just a stone’s throw from the Eiffel Tower. The hotel has 430 rooms and nine different room types in addition to the three suite types. There’s also a brasserie and a bar for dining options. Check-in starts at 2 pm, and the hotel is very accommodating with early check-in requests. Check-out is at 11 am, but they are happy to arrange later check-outs.
Getting There
The hotel is easily accessible from both Charles de Gaulle Airport (18 miles) and Paris Orly Airport (10 miles). The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station is a five-minute walk away, and you can reach it from the airport using the RER B and RER C train lines. The journey takes about an hour, and the cost is around 11€ (£9 / $12) one way. Alternatively, you can take the Le Bus Direct line 2, which takes 60-70 minutes and costs 18€ (£15 / $20) one way. Paid parking is available at the hotel.
Culinary Delights
With such a spectacular view from the suite, it would have been a crime to go down to the brasserie, so we opted for room service. The menu offered a wide range of options, including starters, main courses, and desserts. We went for the 300g seared strip steak, and it was absolutely delicious. The hotel staff went above and beyond, keeping the steak on a hot plate while setting the table for us.
There are also healthy options and 24/7 dishes available for those who want to keep their meals light. The TV Dinner option is perfect for sharing, offering a platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas for 29€ (£25 / $32).
Would I Stay Here Again? Absolutely!
The Penthouse Eiffel Suite is not for everyone, but if you’re looking for an unforgettable Parisian experience, this is the place for you. The view is truly breathtaking, the suite is luxurious, and the service is impeccable. I would definitely stay here again, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the ultimate Parisian getaway. Just make sure you have enough money to afford this once-in-a-lifetime experience!
