An Unforgettable Spa Experience

The Lancaster Private Spa is unlike any other in the city. Unlike many Parisian hotels that tuck away their spa facilities in dimly lit basements, this historic 5-star hotel has placed its spa in the highest reaches of the building. Imagine a double-exposure suite offering breathtaking panoramic views, from the iconic Eiffel Tower to the charming Sacré-Cœur. The spa boasts a private balcony, perfect for soaking up the Parisian sunshine with a refreshing beverage in hand.

Renowned architect Jean-Philippe Nuel, responsible for the hotel’s complete renovation, has crafted a sophisticated and tranquil space within the sloping ceilings of the suite. The décor is a masterpiece of elegance and calm, featuring light wood panels, decorative moldings, flowing white curtains, and plush, harmonious seating.

A Luxurious Retreat for the Senses

The Lancaster Private Spa offers over 60 square meters of pure indulgence, exclusively yours. Whether you prefer a solitary retreat or shared moments of relaxation, the spa welcomes you and your partner with open arms.

“To enhance your experience and maximize the effectiveness of your treatment, we recommend spending 30, 60, or 90 minutes enjoying the spa’s facilities,” suggests Mathilde Suire, the spa manager. “Indulge in the central whirlpool bath or the soothing steam of the hammam before your treatment.”

The Lancaster embraces the power of nature in its spa experience. For the welcoming amenities in each room and its exclusive face and body treatments, the hotel has chosen Terre de Mars, a natural, organic, and vegan skincare brand. The brand’s products, rich in the invigorating and exfoliating properties of caffeine, are designed to revitalize and nourish.

“We use Terre de Mars’s complete range for all skin types, making it easy to recreate the experience at home,” explains Mathilde Suire. “For our signature, ultra-personalized body massages, we rely on the nourishing and restorative Résonance body and hair oil, infused with coffee extract, castor oil, and jojoba oil.”

The Lancaster’s commitment to natural ingredients extends to its recent collaboration with Manucurist. This partnership offers nail treatments and manicures using natural and bio-sourced ingredients, ensuring a sustainable and healthy approach to beauty.

A Legacy of Glamour and Tradition

The Lancaster Hotel, a grand mansion transformed into a hotel in 1930 by Emile Wolf, has a rich history. Its elegant walls have witnessed the arrival of renowned figures, including Queen Elizabeth, Clark Gable, Marlene Dietrich, who resided there for three years, and painter Boris Pastoukhoff, who exchanged his artwork for stays at the hotel, many of which are displayed today. The art of discretion, so valued by VIPs, remains deeply ingrained in this chic abode of 44 rooms and 11 suites.

Jean-Philippe Nuel breathed new life into the hotel in 2020, restoring its 1930s elegance and glamour, beginning with the accommodations and then the Private Spa. This spring, he unveiled the new look of the Monsieur restaurant, where Chef Sébastien Giroud delights guests with his culinary creations.

The CopperBay cocktail bar, adorned with a stunning glass roof, opens onto a charming patio, offering a tranquil sanctuary of greenery amidst the vibrant energy of the capital. The Lancaster Private Spa perfectly embodies the hotel’s spirit of refined luxury and understated elegance, making it a true gem in the heart of Paris.
