A Parisian Dream: My Pullman Eiffel Suite Review

Prepare to be dazzled! I’m about to share my experience staying in the most incredible hotel suite I’ve ever encountered – the Pullman Eiffel Suite/Penthouse Eiffel Suite at the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel. It’s a haven of luxury with breathtaking views that will leave you speechless. Get ready to be swept away on a journey of Parisian splendor!

Eiffel Tower View from the Bathroom

A View Worth Every Penny

This suite offers the most stunning private view of the Eiffel Tower you could imagine. It’s not cheap – this is the most I’ve ever spent on a single night in a hotel. The cost is comparable to a week-long stay at other hotels! But trust me, it’s worth every penny. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better view in Paris, and this is the only suite of its kind in the entire hotel. You’ll have to act fast to secure your stay, especially during popular times.

A Luxurious Oasis

The suite is a whopping 110 square meters, which is 50% larger than my own flat! You’re talking about serious space here, especially compared to the average UK hotel room (32 square meters). Every inch of this suite oozes luxury.

Stepping inside, your eyes are immediately drawn to the impressive bar area. It’s stocked with a mini fridge filled with prosecco, wine, beer, water, and soft drinks. Only the water and soft drinks are complimentary, but the other beverages are priced competitively. You’ll also find tea and coffee (Nespresso machine) and a selection of glasses and mugs for every type of drink imaginable.

The seating area is a haven of relaxation, featuring a corner sofa, a table, and a 46-inch flat-screen TV with a Bose speaker system for music or TV. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors flood the space with natural light and offer mesmerizing views. Next, there’s a grand marble dining table with four plush chairs where you can indulge in room service (more on that later). Or, if the weather permits, enjoy your meal on the private balcony, taking in the Eiffel Tower’s grandeur. A bathroom is conveniently located just before the bedroom.

A Bedroom Fit for Royalty

The bedroom is a sanctuary of tranquility, separated from the main suite by sliding doors. The king-size bed is adorned with some of the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever experienced. The bedroom is generously sized, offering all the standard amenities, plus a chaise longue and another 46-inch flat-screen TV. Double doors lead directly onto the balcony, offering breathtaking views from the comfort of your bed.

A Spa-Like Bathroom

The bathroom is a luxurious oasis, boasting a double bath with a generous selection of C.O. Bigelow toiletries. The shower area features an amazing rainfall showerhead and a hand shower for extra convenience. Two sinks with large mirrors and a second toilet complete this luxurious space.

Storage Space Galore

If you’re planning an extended stay, you’ll appreciate the ample storage space, including a walk-in wardrobe room. A Bose dock with an iPad lets you play music throughout the suite.

The View: The Star of the Show

This Pullman Eiffel Suite review would be incomplete without highlighting the breathtaking view. I poured over countless resources to find the best Eiffel Tower view from a hotel room, and this suite is hands down the best! Even the concierge service at my American Express Platinum card couldn’t find anything better. The Eiffel Tower view is truly the star of the show.

Best View of the Eiffel Tower

A Balcony with a View

The suite features a continuous balcony running the length of the suite, equipped with a table and chairs. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets over Paris and the Eiffel Tower sparkles. Speaking of sparkles, from 6 pm until 1 am, the Eiffel Tower twinkles for five minutes every hour – a truly magical sight, perfect for capturing those Instagram-worthy shots.

Hotel Amenities

The hotel is located on the left bank of Paris, right next to the Eiffel Tower. It boasts 430 rooms, including nine different room types and three suite options. There’s also a brasserie called FRAME and a bar for your enjoyment. Check-in starts at 2 pm, and we were lucky to request an early check-in at noon. Check-out is at 11 am, but we were able to extend our stay until noon with no problem. The hotel staff is incredibly accommodating.

Getting There

The hotel is approximately 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station is a short five-minute walk away. You can reach it from Charles de Gaulle airport via the RER B and RER C train services in under an hour. The one-way fare is approximately 11€ (£9 / $12). Alternatively, you can take Le Bus Direct on line 2, which takes about 60-70 minutes and costs 18€ (£15 / $20) for a one-way ticket. Paid parking is also available at the hotel if you prefer to drive.

Room Service Delights

With the suite’s amazing view and spacious marble dining table, venturing out for dinner didn’t seem worthwhile, so we opted for room service instead. The starters ranged from 11€ (£9 / $12) for soup to 19€ (£16 / $21) for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast and a grain bowl in between.

The main courses started at 14€ (£12 / $16) for linguine to 37€ (£32 / $41) for a 300g seared strip steak. We both went for the steak – it was truly delicious! The hotel staff delivered it on a hot plate and set the table for us – a lovely touch. Other main course options included a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day.

Desserts averaged around 12€ (£10 / $13), with options like chocolate fondant, cheese, and fruit salad. Some dishes across the three courses were available 24 hours a day, and the menu featured a dedicated healthy menu section. There’s also a “TV Dinner” option consisting of a sharing platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas for 29€ (£25 / $32).

Would I Stay Again? Absolutely!

Would I stay here again? Absolutely! The price tag might seem daunting, but for a special occasion, this suite is worth every penny. The suite is truly exceptional, and how many times will you get to say you stayed in a room with such an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower? I only wish I could afford to stay in places like this for every trip!
