A Parisian Dream: My Review of the Penthouse Eiffel Suite at Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel

This review isn’t just about a hotel room, it’s about an experience. It’s about waking up with the most iconic landmark in the world right outside your window. I’m talking about the Penthouse Eiffel Suite at the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel, and trust me, it’s everything you’ve ever dreamed of in a Parisian getaway.

Let’s get real, this isn’t your average hotel room. It’s the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, hands down. Forget about tiny hotel rooms; this suite is bigger than my entire flat! And the view? Breathtaking! You’re literally steps away from the Eiffel Tower, with an uninterrupted panorama that’s guaranteed to leave you speechless.

It’s no secret that a view like this comes at a premium. This suite is the most expensive hotel room I’ve ever booked, but let me tell you, it’s worth every penny. This is the only suite of its kind in the entire hotel, so you’ll need to act fast, especially if you’re planning a trip during peak season.

A Parisian Oasis Awaits

Imagine walking into 110 square meters of pure luxury. That’s right, this suite is massive! Just to put things in perspective, the average hotel room in the UK is around 32 square meters.

This suite is a haven of comfort and style. To your right, you’ll find a fully stocked bar with a mini-fridge filled with prosecco, wine, beer, water, and soft drinks. The water and soft drinks are complimentary, while the other beverages are priced competitively. You’ll also find tea and coffee (Nespresso machine) along with a selection of glasses and mugs to suit your taste.

Next up is a cozy seating area, complete with a corner sofa, a table, and a 46-inch flat-screen TV with a Bose speaker system for your listening pleasure. The entire suite is bathed in natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows and doors. After the seating area, you’ll find a spacious marble dining table with four comfortable chairs, perfect for enjoying room service. And if the weather permits, you can even dine on the balcony! Just before you reach the bedroom, you’ll encounter a beautifully appointed bathroom.

Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel Bedroom

A Bedroom Fit for Royalty

The bedroom is a true sanctuary of comfort and relaxation. It can be separated from the main suite by sliding doors, providing privacy when you need it. The king-size bed is adorned with some of the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever slept on. The bedroom is spacious and includes everything you’d expect, including a chaise longue and another 46-inch flat-screen TV. Double doors lead directly to the balcony, allowing you to step out and soak in the breathtaking views.

The bathroom is just as impressive. In the corner, you’ll find a double bath with a generous selection of C. O. Bigelow toiletries. The shower area boasts an incredible rainfall shower with a hand shower for added convenience. The main room features two sinks with two large mirrors and a second toilet.

For longer stays, the Pullman Eiffel Suite offers ample storage space, including a walk-in wardrobe. A Bose dock with an iPad allows you to play music throughout the suite.

The Heart of the Experience: The View

No review of the Pullman Eiffel Suite would be complete without highlighting the view. I spent hours researching to find the best Eiffel Tower view from a hotel room, and this suite was by far my top pick. Even the concierge service I use through my American Express Platinum card couldn’t find anything better! The USP of this suite is undoubtedly the view of the Eiffel Tower.

The balcony stretches the entire length of the suite, offering a front-row seat to the iconic landmark. It comes complete with a table and chairs, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Parisian ambiance.

Pro Tip: From 6 pm, the Eiffel Tower sparkles for five minutes every hour until 1 am. It’s the perfect backdrop for those Insta-worthy photos!

Beyond the Suite: Exploring the Hotel

The hotel is located on the Left Bank of Paris, right next to the Eiffel Tower (naturally!). It boasts a massive 430 rooms, including nine different room types and three different suite types. The hotel also features the FRAME brasserie and a bar. Check-in begins at 2 pm, and we were able to request an early check-in, arriving around noon. Check-out is at 11 am, but we requested a check-out of noon and the staff was incredibly accommodating.

Getting to Your Parisian Paradise

The hotel is roughly 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station is just a five-minute walk away, and you can reach it from Charles de Gaulle airport using a combination of RER B and RER C services in less than an hour. The fare is around 11€ (£9 / $12) one way. Another option is taking Le Bus Direct on line 2, which takes around 60-70 minutes and costs 18€ (£15 / $20) one way, but you won’t have to change trains. Of course, you can also drive, as the hotel offers paid parking.

Indulging in Parisian Delights

With a view like that, it would’ve been silly to venture down to the brasserie, so we opted for room service. Starters ranged from 11€ (£9 / $12) for soup to 19€ (£16 / $21) for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast and a grain bowl in between.

Main courses started at 14€ (£12 / $16) for linguine to 37€ (£32 / $41) for a 300g seared strip steak. We both went for the steak because why not? It was incredible! The hotel staff brought it up and kept it on a hot plate while setting the table, which was a nice touch. Other main course options included a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day.

Desserts averaged around 12€ (£10 / $13), with options like chocolate fondant, cheese, and fruit salad. Some dishes across the three courses were available 24 hours a day, with healthy options marked on the menu. There’s also a TV Dinner option where you can get a sharing platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas for 29€ (£25 / $32).

Best View of the Eiffel Tower

Would I Stay Again? Absolutely!

The price of the suite might seem daunting to some, but for a special occasion, it’s worth every penny. The suite is fantastic, and how many times will you have the chance to stay in a room with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower? If only I had the money to stay at places like this for all my trips!
