A Parisian Dream: Pullman Eiffel Suite Review

Paris, the city of love, lights, and the iconic Eiffel Tower. What better way to experience this magical city than from a suite with an unparalleled view of the famous landmark? My recent stay at the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel in the Penthouse Eiffel Suite was a truly unforgettable experience, and I’m eager to share it with you.

An Unforgettable Experience

This suite was, without a doubt, the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. It was bigger than my entire apartment! Imagine waking up to breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower, illuminated against the Parisian sky. My hours of research paid off, and I can confidently say, you won’t find a better hotel room with such an incredible view in all of Paris.

The Penthouse Eiffel Suite is truly unique, the only one of its kind in the hotel. This means you’ll need to book well in advance, especially if you’re visiting during popular seasons. But believe me, the experience is worth every penny.

A Luxurious Oasis

Stepping into the suite, you’re greeted by 110 square meters of pure luxury, a space larger than the average UK hotel room! The suite’s layout is designed for comfort and elegance.

On the right, you’ll find a fully stocked bar, with a mini-fridge featuring prosecco, wine, beer, water, and soft drinks. While the water and soft drinks are complimentary, the other beverages are priced competitively. A Nespresso machine and a variety of tea options cater to your caffeine cravings.

The seating area offers a cozy corner sofa, a stylish table, and a 46-inch flat-screen TV with a Bose speaker system. The floor-to-ceiling windows and doors flood the suite with natural light, showcasing the breathtaking view.

Next, you’ll discover a large marble dining table, perfect for enjoying room service (more on that later). You can also dine al fresco on the balcony when the weather permits. Before reaching the bedroom, you’ll find a luxurious bathroom, a welcome respite after a long day exploring Paris.

A Sanctuary of Comfort

The bedroom, separated from the main suite by sliding doors, is a haven of tranquility. The king-size bed features luxurious pillows designed for ultimate comfort. The room is spacious, equipped with all the amenities you’d expect, including a chaise longue and another 46-inch flat-screen TV. Double doors lead directly to the balcony, inviting you to soak in the Parisian atmosphere.

The bathroom is a highlight in itself. A double bath with a selection of C. O. Bigelow toiletries awaits you. The shower is truly extraordinary, featuring a rain showerhead and a handheld shower. Double sinks with large mirrors and a second toilet add to the luxurious feel.

For extended stays, the suite offers ample storage space, including a walk-in wardrobe, and a Bose dock with an iPad for your entertainment needs.

The Crown Jewel: The Eiffel Tower View

The Penthouse Eiffel Suite’s most captivating feature is its unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower. I spent countless hours researching for the best view from a hotel room in Paris, and this was, without a doubt, the winner. Even the concierge service at my American Express Platinum card couldn’t find a better option.

The continuous balcony spanning the entire suite offers a perfect spot to enjoy the view, complete with a table and chairs. Don’t miss the Eiffel Tower’s sparkling light show from 6 pm to 1 am, a perfect opportunity for capturing memorable Instagram photos.

Beyond the Suite: The Hotel Experience

The hotel itself is conveniently located on the left bank of Paris, right next to the Eiffel Tower. It boasts 430 rooms in nine different styles, as well as three types of suites. The FRAME brasserie and a bar offer additional dining and entertainment options. The hotel’s friendly staff is accommodating, allowing for early check-in and late check-out requests.

Getting There and Dining Delights

The Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel is 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle Airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly Airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station is a short walk away, conveniently accessible via the RER B and RER C services from Charles de Gaulle Airport in under an hour for around 11€. Another option is the Le Bus Direct line 2, which takes around 60-70 minutes and costs 18€ but eliminates the need for transfers. The hotel also offers paid parking.

With a magnificent view and a spacious dining area, we opted for room service rather than venturing to the brasserie. Starters ranged from 11€ for soup to 19€ for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast. Main courses started at 14€ for linguine, reaching 37€ for a 300g seared strip steak. The steak was phenomenal, served on a hot plate while the staff set the table for us. Other main course options included a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day. Desserts averaged around 12€, with choices ranging from chocolate fondant to fruit salad. The menu offered healthy options and a “TV Dinner” option featuring a sharing platter for 29€.
