A Parisian Dream: The Pullman Eiffel Suite Review

Have you ever dreamed of waking up to the breathtaking beauty of the Eiffel Tower? Well, I have, and I recently made that dream a reality by staying in the Pullman Eiffel Suite at the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel. This suite was, without a doubt, the most incredible hotel room I’ve ever experienced. I spent hours researching the perfect place to enjoy the Parisian skyline, and this suite, now called the Penthouse Eiffel Suite, was the undisputed champion.

A Suite with a View: Unforgettable Luxury

You can’t deny that a top-notch view of the Eiffel Tower comes at a price, and this suite was no exception. It’s the most expensive hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, but it was worth every penny. This is the only suite of its kind in the entire hotel, so if you have your heart set on it, book early!

The suite boasts a spacious 110 square meters of living space, a jaw-dropping 50% larger than my flat back in Scotland. Imagine having all that room to move around—it’s a luxury you won’t soon forget!

A Suite Designed for Comfort and Indulgence

From the moment you step inside, the Pullman Eiffel Suite envelops you in a world of comfort and elegance. A fully stocked bar area welcomes you with prosecco, wine, beer, and even a selection of soft drinks. While only the water and soft drinks are complimentary, the prices are comparable to what you’d find at any other hotel.

A cozy seating area awaits with a corner sofa, a table, and a 46-inch flat-screen TV equipped with a Bose speaker system for an immersive audio experience. The suite is bathed in natural light thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows and doors, providing stunning views of the Parisian cityscape.

For a more formal dining experience, the massive marble dining table with four comfortable chairs offers the perfect setting to enjoy room service. Or, if the weather permits, head out to the balcony, where you can dine al fresco while admiring the Eiffel Tower.

The Pullman Eiffel Suite also features a bathroom just before you reach the bedroom, ensuring convenience and privacy.

A Bedroom Fit for Royalty

The bedroom, which can be closed off from the main suite with sliding doors, is a haven of comfort. The king-size bed, adorned with some of the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever encountered, invites you to sink into a blissful slumber. The bedroom is generously sized, complete with a chaise lounge and a second 46-inch flat-screen TV, ensuring your entertainment needs are met.

The double doors leading out to the balcony offer an effortless transition to the suite’s outdoor oasis.

A Spa-Like Bathroom Experience

The bathroom, located on the opposite side of the bedroom, is a spacious retreat. A double bath filled with a luxurious selection of C. O. Bigelow toiletries provides an indulgent bathing experience. The rain shower adds a touch of luxury, while the hand shower provides versatility. The bathroom features two sinks with large mirrors and a second toilet, ensuring the ultimate in bathroom comfort.

For longer stays, the Pullman Eiffel Suite offers ample storage space, including a walk-in wardrobe room. A Bose dock with an iPad allows you to create the perfect ambiance with music that flows seamlessly throughout the suite.

The Eiffel Tower: A Breathtaking Spectacle

No review of the Pullman Eiffel Suite would be complete without acknowledging the unparalleled views of the Eiffel Tower. I scoured the internet to find the best Eiffel Tower views from a hotel room, and this suite was, hands down, the winner. Even my American Express Platinum concierge couldn’t find a better option.

The suite’s USP is undeniably the Eiffel Tower view, which is simply breathtaking. The continuous balcony that spans the entire length of the suite offers a front-row seat to this iconic landmark.

Don’t miss the Eiffel Tower’s nightly light show! From 6 pm to 1 am, the tower sparkles for five minutes on the hour. It’s the perfect opportunity for capturing Insta-worthy shots of this Parisian gem.

Beyond the Suite: Hotel Amenities and Location

The Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel, situated on the left bank of Paris just a stone’s throw from the Eiffel Tower, offers a wealth of amenities. With 430 rooms, nine different room types, and three suite options, you’re sure to find the perfect accommodation to suit your needs.

The hotel boasts a brasserie called FRAME and a bar for a relaxed dining experience. Check-in begins at 2 pm, but we were able to request an early check-in and arrived around noon. Checkout is typically at 11 am, but we were happily granted a late checkout until noon.

Getting There: Transportation Options

The hotel is conveniently located about 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle Airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly Airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station, a short five-minute walk from the hotel, offers easy access to the city via the RER B and RER C services. This journey from Charles de Gaulle Airport takes about an hour and costs around 11€. Another option is the Le Bus Direct line 2, which takes approximately 60-70 minutes and costs 18€. Of course, you can also drive to the hotel, where paid parking is available.

Culinary Delights: Room Service and More

With the breathtaking Eiffel Tower view and the expansive marble table, it would have been a shame to leave the suite for dinner. We opted for the room service, which offered a diverse menu. Starters ranged from 11€ for soup to 19€ for a smoked salmon avocado salad.

Main courses started at 14€ for linguine and went up to 37€ for a 300g seared strip steak. We couldn’t resist the steak and were thoroughly impressed with its quality. The hotel staff brought it up on a hot plate and set the table for us, adding a touch of personalized service. Other main course options included spiced chicken and the fish of the day.

Desserts averaged around 12€, with choices like chocolate fondant, cheese, and fruit salad. Some of the dishes from all three courses were available 24 hours a day. The menu also featured a “Healthy Options” section and a “TV Dinner” option, which included a sharing platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas for 29€.

A Parisian Paradise: Would I Stay Again?

Without a doubt, I would absolutely stay at the Pullman Eiffel Suite again. The price may seem steep, but for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, it was worth every penny. How often can you say you’ve stayed in a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower?

If you’re looking for an unforgettable Parisian experience, the Pullman Eiffel Suite is a must-visit.
