A Parisian Dream: The Pullman Eiffel Suite Review

This was the best hotel suite I’ve ever stayed in. It was more spacious than my entire apartment back home, and the view of the Eiffel Tower was simply breathtaking. I put in countless hours researching the perfect spot for a Parisian escape, and this suite exceeded all my expectations. If you’re searching for a hotel room with an unforgettable view of the Eiffel Tower, look no further.

This suite, now known as the Penthouse Eiffel Suite, is a rare gem within the Pullman Paris Eiffel Tower Hotel. While it comes with a hefty price tag, it’s a one-of-a-kind experience that’s worth every penny.

A Suite of Luxury: Unpacking the Pullman Eiffel Suite

The suite offers an incredible 110 square meters of space, which is over 50% larger than the average flat in the UK! The spaciousness is truly remarkable, especially when you consider the average hotel room size.

Upon entering the suite, you’ll be greeted by a well-stocked bar area complete with a mini fridge filled with prosecco, wine, beer, water, and soft drinks. While only the water and soft drinks are complimentary, the other beverages are priced competitively for a hotel. You’ll also find a Nespresso machine, tea, and a selection of glasses and mugs.

The suite boasts a comfortable seating area, perfect for relaxing with a corner sofa, a table, and a 46″ flat-screen TV equipped with a Bose speaker system. Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors throughout the suite ensure breathtaking views and natural light flooding the space.

A large marble dining table, complete with four plush chairs, offers a luxurious setting for enjoying room service (more on that later). If the weather allows, you can dine al fresco on the balcony. A spacious bathroom is also conveniently located just before the bedroom.

A Luxurious Sanctuary: The Bedroom and Bathroom

The bedroom is separated from the main suite by sliding doors, creating a private oasis. A king-size bed with plush pillows promises a restful night’s sleep. The spacious bedroom includes all the usual amenities, plus a chaise longue and another 46″ flat-screen TV. Double doors open directly onto the balcony.

The bathroom is an expansive haven, featuring a corner double bath with a generous selection of C. O. Bigelow toiletries. The shower area includes a luxurious rainfall shower with a hand shower option. Two sinks, two large mirrors, and a second toilet complete the bathroom experience.

More Than Just a View: Extra Perks

For extended stays, the Pullman Eiffel Suite offers ample storage, including a walk-in wardrobe. You’ll also find a Bose dock with an iPad for enjoying music throughout the suite.

A View Worth A Thousand Words: The Eiffel Tower Perspective

The highlight of this suite is undoubtedly the incredible view of the Eiffel Tower. I spent countless hours researching the best view from a hotel room, and this suite consistently topped the list. Even the concierge service at my American Express Platinum card couldn’t find a better vantage point.

A continuous balcony runs the length of the suite, providing a front-row seat to the iconic landmark. A table and chairs offer the perfect setting for enjoying the stunning panorama.

Pro tip: From 6 pm, the Eiffel Tower sparkles for five minutes every hour until 1 am, creating a magical spectacle perfect for Instagram-worthy photos.

Reaching Your Parisian Retreat

The hotel is conveniently located just a short 5-minute walk from the Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station. You can reach the station from Charles de Gaulle Airport via a combination of RER B and RER C services in under an hour for about 11€ (£9/$12) one way. Alternatively, you can take Le Bus Direct line 2, which takes approximately 60-70 minutes and costs 18€ (£15/$20) one way. Paid parking is available at the hotel for guests who prefer to drive.

Dining in Style: Room Service Indulgence

With the suite’s breathtaking view and spacious dining table, it would be a shame to leave the room for dinner. The hotel’s room service menu offers a wide variety of delicious options. Starters range from 11€ (£9/$12) for soup to 19€ (£16/$21) for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast and a grain bowl.

Main courses start at 14€ (£12/$16) for linguine and top out at 37€ (£32/$41) for a 300g seared strip steak. We opted for the steak and were not disappointed. The hotel staff delivered the meal on a hot plate and set the table for us, providing a truly personalized experience. Other main course options include a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day.

Desserts average around 12€ (£10/$13), with options like chocolate fondant, cheese, and fruit salad. Some of the dishes from all three courses are available 24 hours a day, including healthy options. A TV Dinner option features a sharing platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas for 29€ (£25/$32).
