Stepping into a Parisian dream is something I never thought I would experience, but then I stumbled upon Le Cinq Codet. As a frequent visitor to the Left Bank, I was excited to explore more of the city and discover hidden gems. My first solo trip to Paris in 2010 was just a stone’s throw from this stunning hotel. It’s been a while since I’ve stayed in this area, and while I have my usual go-to spots, I always love discovering new hidden treasures. You can see the map below for all the best places to eat, drink, and explore in the neighborhood.
A Birthday Surprise
I arrived the day after my birthday, still a little sleepy from the celebrations. Imagine my surprise when I was greeted with a birthday gift – an incredible upgrade to their most luxurious suite! My jaw dropped and my eyes widened in disbelief. The kind gentleman showed me around, and I was speechless, just taking it all in.
A Spa-Like Sanctuary
The bathroom was absolutely breathtaking. I had never seen anything like it. It felt like I had my own personal spa! I unpacked my cosmetics and toiletries, ready to freshen up for the day ahead.
Heavenly Views and Indulgent Relaxation
Between meetings, I found myself relaxing in the room, enjoying the heavenly views from the terrace. The hot tub was calling my name, but I was too busy soaking up the Parisian sunshine. Why battle the crowds at the Eiffel Tower when you can sip champagne and enjoy this view from your private terrace?
Brunch Bliss
Don’t miss the hotel’s delicious brunch, it’s worth every penny! There are so many options to choose from, and I felt obligated to sample everything, for research purposes of course! 😉
Pastries to Die For
If you’re curious about the pastries, let me tell you, they are amazing. My compliments to the pastry chef! I asked the staff about the boulangerie, but they are all made in-house, even gluten-free options! This was the only thing I didn’t try at brunch, but I have no doubt they were delicious.
A Parisian Feast
You have the option to enjoy champagne with your brunch, I went with the rosé. The peaceful outdoor courtyard provides a beautiful setting for a meal or a drink.
The vegetable and salad station was a delight. I’m not the biggest veggie lover, but I was surprised how much I enjoyed everything I tried, especially the cauliflower couscous. The brunch offered a meat and fish dish each week. I indulged in a bit of both, the fillet and seared tuna, cooked to perfection. I finished the meal with a selection of desserts. I couldn’t decide, so they brought me one of each. The Paris Brest was out of this world good, I would have been happy with just that and skipped the rest. I’m so glad I waited to eat brunch, it was a very filling meal and I wasn’t hungry until much later in the day.
Pampered and Content
The hotel’s turn-down service was exceptional. After a day of exploring, I returned to find slippers by my bed, water, and chocolate on my pillow. The curtains were drawn to block the morning light. Every moment at this hotel was pure bliss.
Parisian Dreams
I feel extremely lucky to have had this experience. This video of the Eiffel Tower sparkling is for those of you who haven’t had the chance to visit Paris. I wanted to share this with you.

A huge thank you to Le Cinq Codet for hosting me and making my birthday one I won’t forget. All opinions are my own.
