A Culinary Journey Atop the City of Lights
The Eiffel Tower is undergoing a complete makeover, striving to offer a truly unique experience to its over six million annual visitors. Following the successful completion of the Tower’s grounds and garden renovations in 2018, the new food offer project takes center stage, focusing on the very best of Parisian and French cuisine.
A Feast for the Senses: Elevated Cuisine and Enhanced Design
The Eiffel Tower’s culinary transformation is a major undertaking, with a completely redesigned food offering led by Umanis, the new concessionaire. This exciting project features a talented duo of Michelin-starred chefs, Frédéric Anton and Thierry Marx, elevating the dining experience to new heights. The project encompasses a complete reimagining of the venues, including architectural renovations, a reinvented culinary and commercial offering, and a strong emphasis on environmental and social responsibility.
The Jules Verne: A Parisian Culinary Destination
The Jules Verne restaurant, a true icon of French gastronomy, is set to reopen its doors in the summer of 2019, under the leadership of Frédéric Anton, a three-star chef and winner of the prestigious Meilleur Ouvrier de France competition. Anton’s ambition is to establish the restaurant as a must-visit gastronomic destination in Paris. To achieve this vision, visitors will embark on an extraordinary culinary journey, starting with a refurbished entrance and a private elevator ascent.
A Refined Setting for Exquisite Cuisine
Arriving at the Jules Verne on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower, guests will be greeted by a beautifully renovated interior, designed by the talented architect Aline Asmar d’Amman. Frédéric Anton’s new Jules Verne offers a menu that reinterprets the classics of French cuisine, while also offering new experiences, such as breakfast, private lounge dining, and even the opportunity to witness the culinary magic firsthand in the kitchen.
The Brasserie: Parisian Bistro Fare for Everyone
On the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, the Brasserie, currently known as 58 Tour Eiffel, is undergoing a transformation under the guidance of double-starred Chef Thierry Marx. The restaurant will be offering new menus created by Thierry Marx for dinner and lunch, starting on March 13th, before closing for extensive renovations from September 2019 to February 2020.
A Modern Bistro with a Sustainable Soul
Led by Ramy Fischler, the 2018 Designer of the Year and founder of RF Studio, and Nicola Delon, co-founder of the Encore Heureux collective, the architectural project for the future Brasserie is divided into islands, providing more views for guests and highlighting the Tower’s original structure. Thierry Marx’s vision for the Brasserie is to create a truly “universal” space, offering a Parisian bistro cuisine that emphasizes the use of simple ingredients. The Brasserie will also be committed to environmental responsibility and social consciousness, using primarily local products sourced within 200 kilometers of Paris and minimizing waste. Get ready to experience the new Brasserie in early 2020!
Take Away Delights: Flavor on Every Floor
The Eiffel Tower experience is set to become as tasty as it is innovative, with a variety of take-away options available from April to December 2019.
