The Brasserie: A Bistro Experience with a Modern Twist
On the first floor, the Brasserie, formerly known as 58 Tour Eiffel, is undergoing a transformative metamorphosis under the guidance of double-starred chef Thierry Marx. While the restaurant is closed for renovations from September 2019 to February 2020, you can still enjoy new menus by Thierry Marx for lunch and dinner starting March 13th.
The architectural vision for the future Brasserie is a collaboration between Ramy Fischler, 2018 Designer of the Year, and Nicola Delon, co-founder of the Encore Heureux collective. This two-level space will be divided into “islands,” offering breathtaking views and highlighting the Tower’s original structure.
Thierry Marx’s vision for the Brasserie is one of simplicity and universal appeal. He’ll be serving a traditional Parisian bistro cuisine with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. The Brasserie will also be deeply committed to sustainability, using products sourced within a 200km radius of Paris and minimizing waste.
Mark your calendar for early 2020 and get ready to savor this unique culinary experience!
From Esplanade to Summit: A Tasty Eiffel Tower Adventure
Get ready for a symphony of flavors on every floor! The Eiffel Tower’s new food offer extends beyond its restaurants, bringing delicious and innovative options to all visitors.
From April to December 2019, the Esplanade will be a culinary playground. Delicious Eiffel Tower cones, savory and sweet, will be available on the go. Food tricycles will offer seasonal snacks like Parisian hot dogs, detox bars, soup or ice cream, and sweets. Say goodbye to long lines at the kiosks! Our friendly “bees” on the Esplanade will let you order pancakes or waffles, pay, and have them delivered right to you.
On the first floor, the old buffet is being transformed into a traditional Parisian bistro. Starting in December 2019, the Eiffel Tower Bistro will offer take-away sandwiches by Thierry Marx during the day, followed by a sit-down dinner in the evening featuring local dishes.
On the second floor, colorful “Comptoir” stands will offer an array of exclusive treats, including mini sandwiches, pastries, and original creations from the Guilde des artisans**.
And at the summit, the Champagne Bar is expanding this spring! This capsule between earth and sky, 905 feet above the ground, will offer champagne and French caviar for an unforgettable experience.
This is more than just a food renovation; it’s a celebration of French culinary excellence and a commitment to provide an unforgettable experience for every visitor. The Eiffel Tower is becoming a destination for all the senses, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds!
