Unveiling the Secrets of the Eiffel Tower: Beyond the Obvious
While the Eiffel Tower is a must-see for every visitor, it’s not just about the classic postcard shots. This guide goes beyond the familiar and delves into the hidden nooks and captivating vistas that offer unique perspectives of this iconic landmark.
It’s important to know that this guide is tailored primarily for our photo shoot clients. We want to equip them with the best locations to choose from, especially for couples planning an Eiffel Tower wedding. But don’t worry! Even if you’re not booking a professional photo shoot, you can still take advantage of this insider knowledge to capture your own breathtaking Parisian memories.
Trocadéro: The Classic Eiffel Tower View
The Esplanade de Trocadéro is undoubtedly the most famous spot for Eiffel Tower photos. It offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the tower against the Parisian skyline. While some renovation projects are ongoing, most of the photo spots are still accessible. The aim of these renovations is to create the largest garden in Paris, with a 1.6km long green space that will allow pedestrians and cyclists to move freely around the Eiffel Tower. You can find more information about these ongoing projects on The Local website.
One thing to note: The wall at Trocadéro is no longer available for photos. The top of the wall has been modified to prevent people from sitting on it. So, if you were hoping to recreate those iconic sitting-on-the-wall photos, you’ll need to find a different spot!
Navigating the Eiffel Tower Photo Spots: Olympic Games and Beyond
The Olympic Games will impact the availability of certain photo spots around the Eiffel Tower. A little bit before and after the games, some key locations will be restricted. For the latest information on which spots are accessible during the Olympics, check out our dedicated article.
Feeling overwhelmed by all the options? Don’t worry! This guide includes a curated list of alternative Eiffel Tower photo spots, each with its own unique charm. Feel free to explore the locations below and discuss your preferences with your photographer. Together, you can create a personalized itinerary based on the images that inspire you most.
