My Amazing Parisian Experience: The Pullman Eiffel Suite Review

Get ready to be mesmerized! I’m about to share my experience staying at the Pullman Eiffel Suite, a hotel room that completely blew my mind. Trust me, this isn’t your average hotel room – it’s an entire suite that’s bigger than my flat! And the view? The Eiffel Tower practically fills your entire window! I spent hours researching the best Eiffel Tower views, and this one was the absolute winner. You won’t find a better room in Paris with such a breathtaking vista!

Now, let’s talk about the cost. This incredible view comes at a price – it’s the most I’ve ever spent on a single night in a hotel! You’d normally expect a week-long vacation for this kind of money! This suite is one-of-a-kind in the entire hotel, so if you’re looking for this specific experience, you might need to book quickly, especially for popular dates. Let’s dive into the details of the Pullman Eiffel Suite and see what you get for your investment.

Luxury Living: Unpacking the Pullman Eiffel Suite

Imagine stepping into 110 square meters of pure luxury! That’s right, this suite is 50% larger than my flat in Scotland! It’s absolutely mind-blowing when you consider the average UK hotel room size is a mere 32 square meters. This suite truly feels like a home away from home.

As soon as you enter, you’re greeted by a well-stocked bar area to your right. A mini fridge is packed with prosecco, wine, beer, water, and soft drinks. While the water and soft drinks are free, the other beverages are priced comparable to hotel rates. There’s also tea and coffee (a Nespresso machine), along with a variety of glasses and mugs to suit your taste.

Next up is a cozy seating area with a corner sofa, a table, and a 46-inch flat-screen TV with a Bose speaker system for music or TV. Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors bathe the entire suite in natural light and offer constant views. Following the seating area is a large marble dining table with four comfy chairs, perfect for enjoying room service (more on that later). You can even dine outside on the balcony if the weather permits. And before you reach the bedroom, you’ll find a bathroom.

The bedroom is a sanctuary within the suite, complete with sliding doors that allow for privacy. A king-size bed with incredibly comfortable pillows awaits. The bedroom offers ample space and all the usual amenities, including a chaise longue and another 46-inch flat-screen TV. Double doors lead directly to the balcony from the bedroom.

On the other side of the bedroom lies the bathroom, a haven of relaxation. A corner double bath comes with a generous selection of C. O. Bigelow toiletries. The shower area features a magnificent rainfall shower, with a hand shower for added convenience. The main bathroom area boasts two sinks, two large mirrors, and a second toilet.

If you’re planning a longer stay (lucky you!), the Pullman Eiffel Suite provides ample storage space, including a walk-in wardrobe room. A Bose dock with an iPad allows you to play music throughout the suite.

The Showstopper: The Eiffel Tower View

This Pullman Eiffel Suite review wouldn’t be complete without highlighting the view. As I mentioned earlier, I scoured the internet to find the best Eiffel Tower view from a hotel room, and this one is truly unbeatable. I even consulted my American Express Platinum card concierge service, and they couldn’t find anything better! The suite’s USP is undoubtedly the spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower from the room.

A continuous balcony stretches from one side of the suite to the other, furnished with a table and chairs. You can enjoy the panoramic view while sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. And speaking of evenings, a top tip for capturing the perfect Instagram moment: From 6 pm, the Eiffel Tower twinkles for five minutes every hour until 1 am.

Hotel Perks: More Than Just a Suite

The hotel itself is located on the left bank of Paris, directly next to the Eiffel Tower (naturally!). With 430 rooms, it boasts nine different room types and three suite types. You’ll also find the FRAME brasserie and a bar on-site. Check-in starts at 2 pm, and we were able to request an early check-in, arriving around noon. Check-out is at 11 am, but we requested a noon check-out, and they were very accommodating.

Getting There: Smooth Travel to Your Parisian Paradise

The hotel is approximately 18 miles from Charles de Gaulle airport and 10 miles from Paris Orly airport. The Gare Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station is a short five-minute walk away. You can reach it from Charles de Gaulle airport using a combination of the RER B and RER C services in just under an hour, costing around 11€ (£9 / $12) one way. Alternatively, you can take Le Bus Direct on line 2, which takes approximately 60-70 minutes and costs 18€ (£15 / $20) one way, but you won’t need to change lines. Driving is also an option, as the hotel offers paid parking.

Dining Delights: A Culinary Journey

With the breathtaking view and the spacious suite, we opted for room service. Starters ranged from 11€ (£9 / $12) for soup to 19€ (£16 / $21) for a chopped avocado salad with smoked salmon toast and a grain bowl in between. Main courses started at 14€ (£12 / $16) for linguine to 37€ (£32 / $41) for a 300g seared strip steak. We both went for the steak, which was absolutely delicious! The hotel staff delivered it on a hot plate while setting the table, a nice touch. Other main course options included a spiced chicken dish and the fish of the day.

Desserts averaged around 12€ (£10 / $13), with options like chocolate fondant, cheese, and fruit salad. Some dishes across all three courses were available 24 hours a day, and a healthy menu section featured healthy options. A “TV Dinner” option, offering a sharing platter with smoked salmon, roasted chicken, ham, cheese, salad, and tortillas, was also available for 29€ (£25 / $32).

Verdict: Would I Stay Again? Absolutely!

This Pullman Eiffel Suite was an unforgettable experience. The price might seem daunting, but for a once-in-a-lifetime stay, it’s worth it. The suite is fantastic, and how often do you get to say you stayed in a room with such an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower? If only I could afford to stay in places like this on all my trips!
