Paris, a City of Dreams, Demands a Dream Hotel

Paris, a city renowned for its romance and allure, is a must-see for travelers worldwide. But even in this enchanting city, your accommodation can make or break your experience. Finding a hotel in Paris isn’t the challenge; it’s choosing the perfect one. We were fortunate to find our dream hotel during our fall trip, and it’s one we wholeheartedly recommend.

Important note: France’s borders are currently closed to non-essential travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so keep this in mind when planning your trip. The French government hopes to reopen for tourism in June 2021.

A Parisian Dream: Hôtel la Comtesse Paris Tour Eiffel

We carefully considered our hotel search in Paris, prioritizing both location and view. We wanted to be within walking distance of the iconic sites of the Vieux Cité, near the River Seine, and, of course, we dreamed of a stunning Eiffel Tower view.

After exploring countless hotels online, we discovered Hôtel la Comtesse Paris Tour Eiffel. Its location is simply unbeatable. Situated just a block from the Champ de Mars, the large park in front of the Eiffel Tower, it offers breathtaking views and easy access to some of Paris’s most famous landmarks.

A Boutique Hotel With Parisian Charm

Hôtel la Comtesse is a boutique hotel with just 40 rooms and suites, each exuding an elegant 18th-century charm. Its Hausmannian building is characteristic of Paris, with a unique wedge shape that creates stunning views from the four rooms at the bottom of the V. However, these rooms are highly sought after and sell out quickly.

Stepping into the lobby is like stepping into a historic Parisian literary parlor. Beautiful frescoes adorn the ceiling, a bookshelf tempts you with classic French literature, and plush chairs invite you to relax and soak in the Parisian ambiance.

A Blend of Modern Amenities and Parisian Flair

The hotel seamlessly blends modern amenities with Parisian flair. Adjoining the lobby is the La Comtesse Café, with windows on two sides and outdoor seating offering a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower. Downstairs, you’ll find a small gym and sauna for those who prefer a more active escape.

A Room with a View (And a Touch of French Flair)

We opted for a Marquise Room, la Comtesse’s term for a “Superior Double” with a side view of the Eiffel Tower. While not the full-frontal view we hoped for, it was still a beautiful and pleasant perspective.

The room itself was small by American standards, but that’s common in Europe. However, it was comfortable and well-appointed, with a queen-sized bed that was incredibly comfortable.

A Parisian Stay Filled With Comfort and Convenience

The in-room amenities were everything we needed, including a coffee maker, a safe, cable TV, and extra towels, toiletries, and coffee provided by the exceptional staff.

Breakfast was a delightful treat, featuring pastries, cheeses, meats, yogurts, fruits, and even made-to-order eggs. The highlight, however, was the traditional hot croissants and the coffee maker that allowed us to brew our own espresso, tea, hot chocolate, or mocha lattes to our heart’s content.

The Perfect Blend of Service and Hospitality

The staff at Hôtel la Comtesse is truly exceptional, adding a special touch to our Parisian experience. From the first day on, they welcomed us with warm smiles and friendly greetings, making us feel like we were part of their family.

They were incredibly helpful, providing directions, restaurant recommendations, and travel advice – a true testament to their dedication to creating a memorable experience for their guests.

A Prime Location for Parisian Adventures

Hôtel la Comtesse’s location is a prime advantage for exploring Paris. It’s within walking distance of numerous attractions, including the Champ de Mars, the Eiffel Tower, UNESCO headquarters, Napoleon’s Tomb, Musée de l’Armée, Musée Rodin, and Place de la Concorde.

With easy access to public transportation and a plethora of dining options nearby, you’ll be perfectly positioned to experience the best of Paris.

An Unforgettable Parisian Experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hôtel la Comtesse, and we highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Paris.

The hotel offers a unique blend of Parisian charm, modern comfort, and exceptional service, making it an unforgettable experience that we’ll cherish for years to come.
