Looking for a charming and stylish hotel in Paris? Look no further than Hotel Original Paris! This boutique hotel is a hidden gem, offering a unique and memorable experience in one of the city’s most captivating neighborhoods.
My recent trip to Paris with my three daughters led me to discover this delightful hotel. The Eurostar offered incredible deals on tickets, and I used my United miles to secure a fantastic rate for the hotel. I was instantly drawn to Hotel Original Paris, nestled in the Marais, a neighborhood I adore for its chic boutiques, vibrant atmosphere, and rich history.
Hotel Original Paris is an architectural delight. Its stunning purple façade and lavender lighting create a captivating presence on Boulevard Beaumarche. The hotel’s prime location puts you within easy walking distance of iconic Parisian landmarks, including the Place de la Bastille, the Marais Quarter, and the Place des Vosges. The area is a haven for art lovers, history buffs, and foodies alike, with countless museums, parks, and charming cafés and restaurants to explore.
Hotel Original Paris is not your typical corporate hotel. Designed by Stella Cadente, this unique establishment embraces a theme of “fantasy and poetry,” blending original features with extravagant materials and whimsical touches. One room even boasts a bathtub in the center!
We booked a triple room but were lucky enough to be upgraded to a spacious quad. The room featured a king-sized bed and two twin beds, cleverly separated by a curtain. This proved to be a lifesaver for me, allowing me to wake up early to work without disturbing my daughters.
The décor of our room was a delightful blend of elegance and whimsy. Lavender walls, black and white striped armchairs, a small desk with a red velvet chair, and a black lacquer built-in wardrobe created a charming ambiance. The comfortable beds were draped in crisp white sheets, though I did find the plastic liner under the fitted sheet a bit awkward. However, I later learned that this is common practice in Paris due to concerns about bed bugs.
The bathroom was a haven of luxurious details. Black and white ceramic tiles, fluffy terrycloth bathrobes and slippers, and a refreshing rain shower provided a spa-like experience. I was particularly impressed with the toiletries, featuring the brand Uriage eau Thermale, which I’ve become obsessed with since my stay. The separate toilet added a touch of privacy, making it perfect for our family of four.
Hotel Original Paris also boasts a fantastic wellness center. The sauna is immaculate and spacious, easily accommodating three to four guests. It features an adjoining shower and, of course, the luxurious Uriage eau Thermale amenities. After a day of exploring Paris, we enjoyed a relaxing evening in the sauna, followed by a delicious dinner.
The staff at Hotel Original Paris are incredibly friendly and attentive. They go above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel’s wellness area offers a range of soothing treatments, including duo massages and facials, created with natural and organic products. The spa provides a tranquil escape from the bustling city, offering personalized care and a sense of serenity.
Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 11:00 am and includes a delightful selection of options. Guests can enjoy a hot beverage, viennoiseries, bread, yogurt, orange juice, cereal, and fresh fruit. The hotel also has an intimate lounge where guests can enjoy drinks and relax throughout the day.
Hotel Original Paris is an excellent choice for families, couples, and solo travelers. The hotel’s warm atmosphere, convenient location, and charming design create a unique and memorable experience.
With its friendly staff, impeccable service, and thoughtful amenities, Hotel Original Paris is a real gem. If you’re looking for a stylish and comfortable stay in the heart of the Marais, this boutique hotel is the perfect choice.
This is my new go-to hotel in Paris! Its quirky charm, convenient location, and exceptional service make it an unforgettable destination for any traveler.
