It’s no secret that Paris hotels can be pricey, especially those with a balcony. I was truly amazed by the cost! As someone living in eastern France, I’m used to much lower prices. But a balcony means a view, and that’s something special. The feeling of leaning on your private railing, gazing at the Parisian rooftops or the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower, is priceless.
That world-class view is an experience worth having at least once in your lifetime. I’ve done my research, now all I have to do is pick my favorite.
Paris is a city that captivates the eyes, beauty surrounds you wherever you look. It’s magical during the day, but even more enchanting at night. Imagine returning to your room in the evening, opening the French windows and gazing upon one of the city’s wonders: the sparkling Eiffel Tower. Or, why not the charming rooftops that have played a starring role in so many movies?
Paris Hotels with Balconies: A Rare Find
While hotels with balconies aren’t incredibly common in Paris, some truly spectacular ones exist. Here are ten of the best in the city.
Hotel Prices in Paris: What to Expect
Prices in Paris are often high, but they don’t always have to be. They vary greatly depending on the time of year. For instance, prices are lower in August, November, February or March, and reach their peak in May.
The difference in prices can be substantial, with some hotels costing three times as much during certain periods. Special events like fashion shows and exclusive gatherings also drive up prices.
To make things easier, I’ve rated the hotel prices based on the least expensive room in November, one of the cheaper months in Paris. Keep in mind that prices increase in other seasons, sometimes slightly and sometimes significantly, making it tricky to provide specific price ranges:
$ – budget, or under USD 300 for some rooms
$$ – upmarket, up to USD 800
$$$ – luxury, mostly above USD 800

Duquesne Eiffel
Originally a small family guesthouse, the Duquesne Eiffel is one of those Parisian hotels with balconies that was completely renovated in 1998 and again in 2009. It’s conveniently located near many of Paris’s top attractions. Bright, cheerful, and contemporary, this hotel is ideal for families or business trips, offering peace and quiet in a fantastic location.
This cozy hotel is situated near the Ecole Militaire metro station, just a short walk from the Invalides and a five-minute stroll from the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower.

Le 12 Hotel
Modern on the inside, beautifully classic on the outside. Le 12 Hotel was stylishly renovated in 2021, with each of its 30 rooms decorated in a unique style, yet united by a common design element: a modern stained glass headboard, allowing light to reflect – as you would expect in the “City of Light.”
The hotel is located near the Gare St Lazare train station, where four metro lines converge, putting you within easy reach of Paris’s best attractions.
Maison Mère
Maison Mère feels like a home away from home, from the framed etchings and black and white photographs in the rooms to the plush leather chesterfield piled high with cushions.
This hotel’s 51 rooms are each unique and designed as if they belonged in a family home – unsurprising given that it is family-owned. The hotel is right near Cadet metro station, in the midst of a typical Parisian residential neighborhood, away from the crowds.
Drawing House
Drawing House is more like enchantment than living space, each floor decorated like a series of stories inspired by drawings, ideal for those with an artistic soul. The rooms and common areas are the work of artists, not industry, an exceptional doorway into an imaginary world.
The hotel has 143 rooms spread over nine floors, located in an area that was once the heart of Parisian artistic life, with two metro stations nearby. For breathtaking views of the famed rooftops of Paris, choose a Deluxe (with terrace) or Superior (with view) room between the 7th-9th floors.

If you dream of a stylish Belle Epoque building superbly decorated with a mix of classical and modern, the boutique Keppler Hotel has it all. Its interior was designed by none other than the world-famous interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon (of Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat and Georges V fame).
You’ll love the opulent lounge skylight that looks up the patio, plush bathrobes, and American buffet breakfast. The George V Metro station is located 450 m away, and you’ll be enjoying the chic vibes of the exclusive 16th arrondissement from one of its 38 guest rooms and 9 suites.
Fauchon l’Hôtel Paris
“Indulgence” is the byword for Fauchon l’Hôtel Paris, where your pleasure is their mission and which has won a plethora of awards as a “Best Hotel for Women”, for its location but especially for its services. Its balconies and wonderful classic French exterior make this an exciting hotel destination.
Located in one of the most wonderful neighborhoods of Paris, in the heart of the sophisticated 8th arrondissement, home to the Champs-Elysées and the Place de la Concorde – this is one of the best Paris hotels with a view of the Eiffel Tower.
For something even more unusual, get a room with a unique view of the Madeleine Church and its Corinthian columns.
Manolita Paris
If Montmartre and Pigalle are Parisian neighborhoods you’d like to explore, the 10-room family-owned Manolita Paris is perfect for your stay. Newly refurbished, it is a blend of classic luxury and a Belle Epoque feel. Because of its size, expect a high level of personal attention from the owner-manager.
Deluxe and junior suites both have balconies in this location in the heart of Pigalle, near Montmartre, close to Pigalle metro station.
Grand Powers
The Grand Powers is luxury and style personified – brass, marble, silk, lacquer, oak, noble materials all. Because it is a classical period building, rooms are large by Parisian standards, the type of building you dream of when you think of Paris.
Located since 1920 in what is called the Paris Golden Triangle (the area contained between Avenue Montaigne, the Champs-Elysées and Avenue Georges V), this 50-room hotel is an example of Art Deco Parisian chic, with the refinements of elegant moldings and antique fireplaces.
San Regis
When you read about the San Regis, the sentence will usually contain words like “one of the most exclusive addresses in Paris” and “one of the finest hotels in the world”. The word “opulent” also comes to mind when you mention this exclusive luxury hotel.
The 42-room hotel in the heart of the Triangle d’Or, or Golden Triangle, is a former mansion which many international stars call home while in Paris.
Parisian Inspiration: A Lasting Memory
If Paris inspires you, a hotel with a balcony will elevate that inspiration even more. Our travels are made of memories and what better memories to leave with than that once-in-a-lifetime image of the rooftops of Paris, with the Eiffel Tower in the distance? Whether you’re visiting for romance or business, this is an indelible vision you’ll carry with you always.
