Navigating Paris Hotels: A Budget-Conscious Approach
Parisian hotels, like many travel destinations, have seen a surge in prices since reopening to tourists. The location and time of year are major factors in determining the price of a room, so it’s important to consider these elements when planning your trip. Use the map below to narrow down your search if you have a specific area in mind.
Remember, booking your hotel as soon as you have your travel dates locked in can secure you incredible deals. As your trip approaches, prices tend to soar due to increased demand.
Spring, summer, and fall are considered the peak seasons in Paris, so expect higher prices during these months.
Don’t hesitate to share your hotel recommendations in the comments below! We’d love to hear about your favorite Parisian havens and share them with fellow travelers.
Boutique Bliss: Stylish and Affordable Stays
Maison Mère, a newcomer to the Parisian boutique hotel scene, is a perfect choice for a weekend or a week-long stay. With modern amenities and a prime location near many popular attractions, this hotel has it all. The balconies overlooking a quiet street provide a peaceful retreat, and the friendly staff at the front desk are happy to offer recommendations for local restaurants and even store your luggage while you wait for your room.
I recently enjoyed a stay at Maison Mère and will definitely be back for another visit! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the rooms are a delightful blend of style and comfort.
Hotel Bienvenue, nestled in the 9th arrondissement, offers a unique Parisian experience. This hotel provides an authentic glimpse into local life, starting with prices as low as $100-$200 per night. There’s even a triple room for families at a reasonable $180. Every week, the hotel hosts cooking classes on-site, giving guests a chance to learn the secrets of French cuisine.
Hotel Bienvenue is a great option for those who want to immerse themselves in the local culture and enjoy a truly Parisian experience.
Luxury on a Budget: 4-Star Delights
Hotel Monge, situated on the Left Bank, is a short walk from the vibrant Latin Quarter, renowned for its affordable food and drinks. The hotel boasts stylish, modern rooms, complimentary breakfast, and free Wi-Fi. The area offers plenty to explore, including the Jardin des Plantes, Panthéon, and the picturesque Luxembourg Gardens.
Hotel Monge combines luxurious comfort with a central location, offering a perfect blend of affordability and elegance.
Hotel Grands Boulevards, while on the pricier end of our budget-friendly list, is a true Instagram darling. This centrally located 4-star hotel offers rooms starting at $200 per night. The hotel’s Instagram-worthy aesthetic has made it a favorite among travel bloggers, but its central location and rooftop terrace with views of the city are sure to win you over.
While I haven’t stayed at Hotel Grands Boulevards, I wouldn’t hesitate to book a stay here. The combination of luxurious amenities, Instagram-worthy aesthetics, and a central location makes it a compelling choice.
Hidden Gems: Unveiling Parisian Hospitality
Hotel Royal Madeleine, located in the heart of the 8th arrondissement, is a recently renovated gem with a charming ambiance. The hotel’s stunning makeover has created a space that is both stylish and comfortable, offering rooms for around $160-$180 per night.
This hotel caught my eye during my blog research, and I’ve already recommended it to several friends. The combination of its location and its newly revamped design makes it a standout option.
Adèle and Jules are two identical hotels, offering a peaceful haven in a quiet family street. These hotels have become my go-to recommendation for their excellent value and friendly service. The rooms, some overlooking the quiet street and others facing the peaceful courtyard, provide a tranquil escape.
I’ve hosted our Atlas Adventures Paris trips at Adèle and Jules, and the experience was so wonderful that we repeated it a second time! The staff is incredibly helpful, offering restaurant recommendations and insights into the neighborhood. You can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the lobby, or opt for room service for a lazy morning.
Hotel Thèrese, the sister hotel of Adèle and Jules, is tucked away on a quiet street within easy walking distance of the Louvre museum. This location is perfect for first-time visitors, providing a central base for exploring Paris’s iconic landmarks.
I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Thèrese, and I was delighted by the staff’s attention to detail and the charming views from my room.
Hotel de la Tamise is a small boutique hotel nestled in the Louvré- Saint Honoré district, offering a prime location overlooking the Tuileries Gardens. With just 19 rooms, this intimate hotel provides a personalized experience for solo travelers and families alike.
The hotel’s location, a short walk from the Tuileries, Louvre, and Palais Royal, makes it an excellent choice for exploring Paris’s artistic heart.
