Room & Check-In/Out
What time can I check in and out?
Your room will be ready for you at 2:00 PM on the day of your arrival. We kindly ask that you vacate your room by 11:00 AM on the day of your departure. Don’t worry about being in a rush though! You can still use our common areas and services, such as luggage storage and toilets, before and after these times.
Does my room have a safe?
Absolutely! All rooms are equipped with an electronic safe, which is protected by a numerical code, providing you with peace of mind while you enjoy your time here.
Are there non-smoking rooms available?
All of our common areas are smoke-free in accordance with Italian law. For your room, we encourage you to indicate your preferences when making your booking, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Access & Transportation
Can I arrive by car?
Yes! You can drive directly to the hotel and our partner garage will handle parking your car safely and securely. They will also ensure your license plate is registered with the local authorities.
What is the nearest train station?
The closest train station is the Santa Maria Novella main station (SMN), just a 5-7 minute walk from our hotel, or a 5-minute taxi ride.
How do I get to the airport?
The Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Peretola is about a 20-30 minute taxi ride from our hotel. You can also take advantage of the shuttle bus, which departs every 30 minutes, on the hour, directly from the airport. Another option is the new tramline, also leaving directly from the airport. Both the shuttle and tram arrive at the Santa Maria Novella central station in Florence.
Hotel Amenities & Services
Does the hotel have parking?
We partner with a nearby garage that offers convenient pick-up and drop-off service. The garage is open from 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM and charges between €25.00 and €40.00 per day depending on the size of your car. On the day of your departure, you can leave your car in the garage until 3:00 PM at no extra charge.
Is the garage always open?
The garage is open from 7:00 AM to 2:00 AM. If you return after closing time, you can park your car on the street in front of the hotel until the garage reopens. They will then send someone to retrieve your car and park it in the garage for you.
Do I need to register my car in advance?
No need! Your license plate will be registered by the garage staff upon your arrival at the hotel.
Breakfast & Concierge Services
What about breakfast?
Enjoy our delicious buffet breakfast served in our frescoed breakfast room or on our terrace during the summer months. Breakfast is available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. If your departure is scheduled before breakfast opens, you can request a packed breakfast at the reception by 6:00 PM the day before.
Does the hotel have a concierge service?
Yes! Our friendly concierge is here to help you make the most of your stay. They can assist with general information, museum reservations, restaurant recommendations, theater tickets, car rental with and without a driver, bike rental, babysitting and many other services.
Are laundry services available?
We offer laundry, dry cleaning, and ironing services from Monday to Saturday (excluding holidays). If you drop off your clothes by 10:30 AM, they will be returned to you by 8:00 PM the same day.
Does the hotel have internet access?
We provide free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel! You don’t need a password or code, just register your details to access the internet. We also have a free internet point available for our guests.
Where can I find an adapter?
All rooms have a multiple socket that can accommodate most plugs. If you need a special adapter, our concierge team will be happy to help you find a solution.
Pet Policy
Can I bring my pet?
We welcome small pets in our rooms at no extra charge. Please note that pets are not allowed in the breakfast room. We can also help you find the necessary items to make your pet’s stay comfortable, like bowls, kennels, or litter boxes. Alternatively, we can arrange for a dog-sitting service if needed.
