Please note that some galleries may be closed due to capacity limitations; we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Visiting Hours and Access

  • Open daily from 10 am to 6 pm (except Mondays) – Ticket sales close at 5:15 pm.
  • Thursday late nights: Enjoy extended hours until 9:30 pm for temporary exhibitions.
  • Closed on: January 1st, May 1st, and December 25th.
  • Special closing time: December 24th and 31st, the museum closes at 5 pm.

Getting There

Conveniently located in the heart of Paris, the Musée d’Art Moderne is easily accessible:

  • Metro: Lines 9 (Alma-Marceau or Iéna stops)
  • Vélib’ Station: Located at 4 rue de Longchamp, 4 avenue Marceau, Place de la Reine Astrid, or 45 avenue Marceau.
  • Bicycle: Bike parking is available right in front of the museum entrance.
  • Bus: Lines 32 (Iéna), 42 (Alma-Marceau), 63 (Iéna), 72 (Musée d’Art Moderne), 80 (Alma-Marceau), 82 (Iéna), and 92 (Alma-Marceau).

  • Wheelchair access: A wheelchair is available for visitors. Please call 01 53 67 41 18 to reserve it.
  • PMR lift: Accessible from the staff entrance, located to the right of the main entrance.
  • Accommodations: Free admission is provided for the person with a disability (with a disability card, priority card, or parking permit for disabled persons) and one companion.

  • Safety: In compliance with the Vigipirate security plan, we conduct visual inspections of all bags and luggage. Bags exceeding H40L40P40 dimensions are strictly prohibited. The museum security service may take any necessary measures without prior notice.
